chip in for an eNom business?

I've been thinking that the need for domains is growing nowadays. A 6.95 eNom reseller costs about $1500 USD, so who is interested in chipping in and start a business (a few people), and I am willing to spend a lot of time on it, and also willing to advertise it manually for low-cost domains...$7.95-8.50.

This is just an idea, but if anyone is interested, PM me or reply or something ;)

Write a clear and concise business plan and make sure you focus on how you plan on getting marketshare with such a competitive (and well established) market. 24x7 live chat and premium support, free domain for every 10 registered, dropping/ed domain script with 1 click registeration for dropping domains, etc are some good ideas. PM me when you have a business plan.

May want to check out godaddys reseller programs:

IMHO, I think the Enom reseller plan is over-rated. You can get domain name as an end-user at 6.99 at domainsite.com .

With Enom, you need to commit yourself to a bulk number of domain names by pre-paying so it means that you technically might be stuck with a huge initial out of pocket.

You can look at GoDaddy or Namecheap reseller plans.

Since the GoDaddy Reseller is posted above, here is the Namecheap reseller plan http://website.unifiedregistrar.com/ . You basically pay $49 a year for it and each domain name will cost you $7.98. The best thing is that you don't need to be out of pocket too much.

Godaddy charges $99 for being a reseller.

You can get a free reseller account from Registerfly with no minimum pre-funding. domains cost $6.50, or as regular user you can get "Flypacks" and each domain is $5.99.

And become your own domain seller!
Does take quite a bit up front, got to have a clear business plan, a bond, a website that is secure enough, etc etc etc

My son is going through all this now.
Been at it for about 3-4 months and it does take some time.

Hopefully soon he will have his own domain seller business.

Are these sub accounts? So if you get in trouble for anything with enom the account gets shut down as well? Im going to assume it is, because a regular 6.95 enom account is worth $XXXX.
