I'm a student and I recently won a few online poker tournaments which has given me some spare cash to invest. Basically I'm looking to invest about $150 to give me the best return in under a year. I'm a pretty much a newbie here but understand most of the basics, just not how to implement everything, I'm willing to learn but have limited time maybe an hour or so a day. Any suggestions or advice on what to put my money towards and what to definitely avoid. Thanks
I would be also interested if someone could told me to earn in couple of hours... To invest in stock market is not the solution...
150$ is a good amount to start a good website.Do some niche research.Start 5-10 micro niche sites.Do some link building. And enjoy residual income for life
you can do lot of things. 1. Domain flipping 2. affiliate marketing 3. Link Sales 4. CPA lead 5. adsense or something like that etc Maybe you can buy ebook first on how to do it. There is lot of guide here
If you are good at marketing... it is a good idea to build a site/landing page and take up affiliate marketing! Regards, RightMan
thanks for the advice, I've thought about lots of these already. Although I'm not sure how to make money in link sales. Also any advice for a good not too pricey all round beginners E-book. Finally has anyone here invested in partnerships with people needing money to get started and seen returns on their investment.
Have you sold on ebay before? You could always use that to start buying products to sell on ebay, often that can offer a good return. would also allow you to grow at your own controlled rate.
Let it ride. Bet it on the lakers to win the NBA championship! Then you'll have $200-250 to invest. As for an ebook recommendation.. Check out feelancepros.com (or my thread in the ebook section). Good luck. Make a list of your strengths and what you can provide people, then find tasks, jobs, or develop sites around those strengths.
Keep in mind, far away partnership will be dangerous if the partner is not a trusted person. Be careful, in my country there is a lot of person that take the money then leave (how shame )
The price of gold, son. Invest $150 on IM and it will go right into someone else's pocket. Keep your money, invest your time, energy and focus and reap much more than $150.
Partnerships are a good idea but finding people that are going to get a lot done in the partnerships is hard
Why not keep playing poker? Invest the $150 in another poker room that offers a good sign on deal. Clear your bonus, double your money, move on to the next room. Sounds like you've got some ability, I'd stick to it.
That's what I was thinking. Why quit now? Maybe he just got lucky and won? I've placed top 100 out of 2000+ tournaments on Pokerstars a few times (best of all time was 45th out of 4,000). To me, poker online is very risky and isn't really worth it unless you get really good at the $1-3 tables (the 7 person tournaments. I honestly can't remember what it's technically called since I havent played in 2 years). Play 4 at a time, for a few hours a day (which really should only be the 4 games you started at the same time). Then, work your way up.
Since you don't have time for online business,i would suggest you buy some domain then setup auto blog. Put adsense into it to earn money.
I second him on website flipping. Purchase few domains, setup wordpress on it and list it on flippa. Website flipping is a good way to generate some quick profits.
