Why the sudden drop in sales....?

    Hi all,

I run a successful website with clickbank and it is doing very well.

However, in the last 24 hours sales have been at 0-2 sales, in comparison to 25 sales a day.

Can anyone please explain to me what is happening at the moment?

    Hi all,

I just realized that I had put something on my website that was definitely deterring them.

"THIS PRICE WILL INCREASE ON JUNE 1ST BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL $67 PRICE TAG..."

And now it is June 3/4 depending on where you come from.

It now says: "THIS PRICE WILL INCREASE ON JULY 1ST BACK TO ITS ORIGINAL $67 PRICE TAG..."

Made a sale within a minute of putting that up :)

    This might clear things up:

    Brief Credit Card Processing Issue

    2010-06-03

This afternoon ClickBank experienced a brief interruption in credit card processing that affected a small percentage of our orders. HopLinks and other payment types, such as PayPal, were not affected.

This issue was quickly resolved. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

    THANKYOU SO MUCH!

I have emailed clickbank just to make sure and to check my payment processor.

Anyway, I really do hope this is over...

Thanks for the info! I noticed it as well and was quiet wondering whats wrong for a while! Probably by "small percentage of our orders" they meant "a large percentage of our orders" - because I noticed at least 60 orders less than my daily average!

Yeah that's probably what they meant.

I'm curious to know whether this has been resolved yet, or if it is still an ongoing issue at the moment?

Has anyone else's sales got back to their normal rate?

Same issue over here, way way under the daily average.

I'm in the same boat. Went from a 300 dollar day yesterday to a 30 dollar day today. My traffic is exactly the same as yesterday, so this is becoming increasingly frustrating.

It is really really frustrating here too...

Clickbank said that had resolved the issue when I highly doubt they did. Can someone actually call Clickbank. Does anyone have their number, because I can't find it on their site.

I noticed a "live help" button in my account yesterday that's not there today. Hmmmm....

Just found the live chat button in my main account. Going to see what they say in there. My analytics show a lot of orderform submissions w/ no results. Could be some payment processing issues. If I ever get someone on this chat line I'll ask them.

edit - No one answered the live chat. That sucks.

Wow you're bringing in nearly 30 sales a day, insanity bro! I want to start up my own product as well, we'll see though; I heard it's a lot of work, but I'm definitely looking forward to it.

Hmm.. that's a pretty poor show from CB.

Although saying that the price has gone up a few days ago will no doubt have an effect on sales, ha ha - oops :)

My sales were at a dead stop until this morning - right around CB opening time. They probably came in to a buttload of emails. With the volume they put out, they need to have a 24hr technical service hotline.

I asked because he didn't mention it and because many of my websites lost google rankings and traffic EXACTLY yesterday. This could be the case for many other affiliates
    that's why I asked

I have several high selling campaigns that are adwords only, and even those stopped selling yesterday. Hopefully they'll get it all ironed out today.
