    @armiantz

    No prob my man... Happy to help when I can. Like I said, I don't really have much experience in adult SEO, although... I bet that would be a pretty profitable niche for someone to specialize in now that I think of it. :)

    Okay I have a question...My site is nearly 2 months old and stuck at #3. for our main keywords. We used to be at #1 and the difference in traffic was like--well we got like 5 times the traffic we do now. The old site was deleted without my say and we moved to a new host. We have all the same content but I can't 301 it and we're stuck with what we've got. I have NOT spammed anywhere and manually build my links, placed some ads, my members added it to some of their blogs and stuff. We put up videos and I tweet us too. so we got backlinks, many if not most on relevant sites, thousands of backlinks coming out our ass and still stuck at 3. I did an on site optimisation recently, but still no change. I got a programmer working on fixing our php errors then we will install a URL optimiser. But still stuck in the meantime.

    Edit: Forgot the question. The question is how to get to #1?

    I have several image sites. Some have around 800 images and maybe one or two indexed, some have less than 50 total images and 8 or 9 indexed. All created around the same time... What is determining their being indexed, is it people backlinking to them? Some of my pages has 200-300 word articles on them and the image still hasn't been indexed, but some have nothing but the image on the page and they are indexed.... I don't understand lol!

    I am new to SEO and I'm wanting to know what is the difference between do-follow and no-follow? Also, when I'm linking to another site how will I be able to tell whether or not it is a do follow or no follow site?

    A nofollow link does not give the linked site any credit. i.e.g if I linked to your site with a nofollow link, it would not directly benefit you in the search engines.

    You can spot a nofollow link by checking the source code (your link will look like <a href="http://site.com" rel="nofollow") or using a firefox plugin like Quirk Searchstatus which will highlight nofollow links.

    Despite there being no direct benefit to nofollow links, I still acquire some. This is because in a natural link profile you will always get some nofollow links (e.g. people linking to your site voluntarily in a forum) so to make sure your site does not look spammy, i try and pick up a couple.

    hi
    h1,h2.....h6 are header used in design pages. from design point of view every tag its own feature like font size, weight etc. in SEo search engine consider it more valuable than normal css,so it is preferred to use some of your keyword ad header tag.

    @Groovystar That's a bummer about your deleted website situation... Sometimes getting to #1 for a particular keyword is tough--obviously you already know this--but sometimes Google just has a mind of its own. Even though you've got more backlinks, etc, a lesser page can still outrank you.

    Here's what I'd try if you haven't already:

    1.) Perform a backlink analysis of your competitions website. Maybe they 1 or 2 really good links that could be duplicated and put you over the top.

    2.) SEO is often a grind. If you keep at it, you can eventually come to the top of the heap. Just continue doing solid link building and continuing to build out the content of your website. Even if you aren't able to get your primary keyword right away, you can continue to build more traffic on long tail stuff.

    3.) I assume you've already done all the on-page optimization stuff you can.

    Good Luck! Sometimes it just takes time to get up to #1. Especially with a newer website. :)

    @Delta9er... Very interesting. Without being able to take a look at your site, my first question would be: 1.) Do you have any links pointing to these sites? If not, it would be a good idea to do some simple link building to get Google see your site as more of an authority and start crawling more pages. (You don't need 1,000s of links) 2.) How is your internal linking on your own website? Is a crawler able to easily get to these different image pages on your site? 3.) Have you made a sitemap.xml... this could help index some of your deeper pages especially on the larger websites.

    I hope that helps to get you started. If not, I can check out your websites if you leave a link.

    @freshdevelopment... Agreed. A link is still a link.
