I have a new website (still making some tweeks), but wanted to share it and see what people thought? The website rents and sells inflatable (and some puffy) party supplies. We are starting with inflatable sumo suit kits and puffy (over-sized) boxing gloves. Please check it out and tell me what you think: The website can be found here - BouncePartyOnline.com Thanks in advance...
This one has me stumped. The elements are all there, I am not sure I like the color scheme or if it is the tabs at the top. My feeling is the colors are not exactly working for me. I think it is the Yellow on Blue...
It's good if you target child because it's colorful. But i think you must red color more to your site, since bounce party ring is blue and red, not blue and yellow
not liking the design if i am honest..... maybe sell some products on the homepage so that people know instantly they can buy online. at present you have a lot of text on homepage which I just did not read as I was expecting to be shown some products that I could buy. pick your best products and show them on the homepage so a user knows exactly the type of things they can buy. otherwise they might leave before doing anything
the only thing for me is, im def not feeling the yellow, i would make this a shade of blue perhaps, atleast down the left hand menu, the yellow top would maybe look ok left as it is, if the left menu is changed

Hey Badlands, I love the idea and I think it's going to go over really well. The idea of being able to rough someone up in a gentle sort of way is fun. However, you're asking about the site not the idea. The scrolling picture banner is somewhat distracting and really slowed down the loading of the site. You could lose someone at that bottle-neck. I think this line "Looking for a hilarious way to really LIVEN UP your next corporate event?" should be more prominent, instead of the "taking bouncing to the extreme." Generally, just make it clearer what you do, faster. Oh, and where's your lead-capture mechanism? You're onto something here. Cheers, Roofy
One of the most creative sites/ideas I've seen in a long time. You should add your telephone number and a fun image to your Contact page. A well designed Contact page improve website conversion rates. Both of those changes will increase your conversion. The scrolling banner is going to hurt your conversion rate. Some people like it, some are neutral and some hate it. Why drive away the ones that find it distracting and don't like it? Their money is as good as anyone else's. You don't have to give it up, just add user control (basically a pause/play button). Here's a site that does that very effectively: www.vsplash.com.
I think you need to move your contact information up further somewhere. There are a lot of users who will want to get right to contacting you immediately without exploring further on the site. You are taking a chance with the moving images as it can be distracting for some people. I personally feel that it could work for your particular product and gives it a fun feel.
Thanks - I will look into changing the colors as many people have mentioned this. I appreciate your time and feedback. I thought the round was fun, but maybe not? Thank you for your feedback, it is appreciated. To be honest, I am not sure what your comment means, sorry. Roofy, thanks for the feedback on the idea and the site - much appreciated. I agree, I think I need to get to the point quicker and a better lead capture system could be good (was relying on the Contact Us page form). Thank you! I like the idea of adding a fun image to the contact us page and I thought I had the phone number on the Contact Us page - whoops... Your points are well taken, but not sure what I am going to do with the header yet - also love the www.vsplash.com site - very cool, thanks for sharing! I have the Contact Us page link in the header menu on a tab that I thought stood out a bit, but if you did not see it than it is not working hard enough. I appreciate your feedback and am going to figure out a way to get that information across more quickly as you are right, some people just want to call - now.
