Ok guys, based on launch day feedback, a couple of edits to the logic. We protect download URLs by creating random URLs. However, inorder to increase security some extra validation checks are set. The validity of the temporary URL is as follows:

    (1) It is invalid on one's own browser for one hour (In other words, if u purchased using ur Firefox browser, the link will NOT work on Internet Explorer etc)
    (2) It is immediately INVALID on any other PC

Hope that should sort out this issue. Please feel free to register on www.lockdbank.com and let me have your feedback.

I have some more tools in mind exclusively for ClickBank merchants. However, I'm looking for partner who can help me promote it to other ClickBank vendors while I focus mainly on product development. Is someone interested? Please email me at

See that your thankyou page is not indexed by the search engines.
So put a noindex html tag in the meta tags.
Also regularly keep changing your thank you page.

ya it may certainly help reduce the product theft but can be reduced further using ClickBank's API. Plain HTML files will usually be cached. Making it dynamic using ClickBank API makes it better

    Hey Al,

Yes I did. Infact I posted a msg here for you all to try. So sad that you didnt see it yet :( Never mind...

As you know, we protect download URLs by creating random URLs. However, inorder to increase security, validity of the temporary URL is as follows:

    (1) It is valid on same browser ONLY for one hour
    (2) On any other browser (even if it is same PC), the temporary URL wont work
    (3) Similarly it is immediately INVALID on any other PC

Hope it helps. Let me know buddy.

I'll have to test it out myself... and let you know.

Last time, when I've uploaded the code to my page they weren't random URL's that's why I was wondering if you've changed the script a little.

Thanks for letting me know, I'll try it out and let you know how it works.

    Best

Excellent. Yes, I did update the script a bit. You can "grab your protection code" again and paste it on your Thank You pages. Hey I have some more nice little ideas too buddy (mostly tools). I'm keen to partner with someone who can help promoting. Do you know someone? Its a small niche but I'm sure there are some really loyal customers.

A great way to start is to add all the new features/ tools to your product/site and try to submit it into the clickbank marketplace.

Sure thing... currently this is a free offering. I think I should probably list once my paid offerings are in place. Oh btw, did you like the new validity rules in place? I hope it enhances security further
