OK I have this domain and its currently for sale, some ones offered $20 im thinking it may be worth a lil more as its a great domian name. DEAL DIRECT with the whole seller style site imo would suite nicely. .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .us all taken and the biggest online store in my country is called DealsDirect.com.au I noticed DEALDIRECT.com.au was also owned by the other website! and its ranked on alexa with ok traffic now I think mine is worth something dont you? how much should I be asking?
what do you mean deal direct is not appropriate for org...deal direct with the organisation????? did you even read the post?
He is right about it not being appropriate, .org was made for non-profit organisations, so anything called deal direct is never going to be a non-profit organisation.
weeman what are you on about ive seen 1000s and 1000s of .org domain names that have nothing to do with no profit sites, this doman imo is good for SEO purpose, I noticed www.dealdirect.com.au has some veyr nice traffic and it was purchased by the dealsdirect.com.au empire, if this domain was developed as deal direct as liek a missspelt domain as meany visiotrs to the real dealsdirect do, think of the traffic potential. i may aswell see if dealsdirect want it???? or just let it go cheap ???
Consider both options. I have keywordz.org, eblogz.org and a couple of more org domains which i bought when i was new. The domainers who buy domains like to stay away from .org . try to avoid em unless you know its a bullseye
I know with the right seo skills this is a gold mine, just check www.dealdirect.com.au it was bought out from Hervey Bay Deal Direct Directory of business, accommodation, property sales. now owned by dealsdirect.com.au, many people are searching for this term on google, this deals driect website is advertised all day every day in australia all over the main tv networks... whats to say dealdirect.org could be designed and catch in on this traffic on google.com????? people who say this is a bad domain need to think twice imo...
IMO.. if you are so sure.. then dont sell it and develop it the way you claim it i m not a australian .. no1 knws better than a local..
yes if any australian users in sydney they would have seen these ads over and over and over, the owner of deals direct was even on tv for 10 minutes the other night talking about how his site has made him a personal fortune of over 20 million in the past year and he is in a partnership, its not exactly liek this site is small, its making 40 million or so in sales a year. So their is some big traffic going to it.
You asked for some opinons and got them. The domain has been valued at what people think it is worth. A domain is only worth what others are willing to pay. Keep that in mind. Good luck.
