This is much faster than usual, though you have to consider the nature of the keywords, and how relevant your site is to it compared with the other results.

    thank you everybody who replied.

I am a bit surprised how it happened. I have more than 10 domains, never noticed this kind of thing before. Keywords are 100% relative. Keywords contains 3 words including a 'to', from total no. of results you could imagine these keywords strength. as I said before google is showing:583,000 results, and yahoo: 2,280,073 results

Registered and hosted on 18th May, Google first crawled in 3 days - 21st May- which surprised me a lot in #16 or #18 (depending upon google domain extensions say .ca or .in or .com), so far yahoo was not showing anything, but from yesterday its showing in #3!

I have not done any back links or black hat SEO, neither paid anybody. Seems, its a good to keep it secret for my SEO work :p

Though I am bit worried for this unusual SEO, not sure how can I keep it in same ranking for more than 3 months.

I will update my blog regularly, but another domain is for showing my service only, which I think may not need to update frequently as I don't know what should I put there except my services - what should I do there? not sure

That is good! My next question is what type of traffic can you expect for spot one with your keywords?

Updating frequently should definitely help but it's not, I'm afraid, a guarantee that it will stay there. This is a really great result though and I just wanted to wish you luck going forward. That's great- now keep it up and follow the best practise for linkbuilding and you should be in good shape :)

Actually I registered these domains keeping in mind to use the keywords for which its showing results now, obviously quite happy. I am not sure how much traffic I can get but the competitive site have satisfied visitors( 1,817 U.S. visitors per month ) if I check by domaintools.com - this site created on 2007-08-08. Market is booming for last few years on this work.

For another site for which I am providing services, competitive sites have enough even more than above users.

I hate to disappoint, but it is probably just a temporary bump. This is not uncommon for new Websites.

Yeah, it seems to me uncommon too, thats why I started this thread, though my contents are relative. Lets see what happens!
For my old site I tried very hard but never worked.

i would appreciate if you could provide the specific URL of your website.
Well coming on 16 within 15 days means that you might be having very less competition.

You may be targeting keywords with low competence.

That is really cool and a bit fast. I also experienced the same with my newest site. But Google sandbox seems to be the hardest pain on the back side. Anyway keep it up and don't rest on your laurels

Would be interesting to see the sites. I also think there is little competition for your keywords that you have used on your site.

What's happening is that Google is dancing, but I never knew that Yahoo adopted the dancing technique on their engine too.
usually you wont last there long if you don't get enough relevant links.
