Hi, Yesterday I bought www.liair.com off Clasione on Digitalpoint. I've re-designed the site, and wondered what you thought. I'm looking for comments on the browser compatibility, i.e. does it look okay in Firefox, Mac etc. It needs a few images adding and the Google Adsense will soon produce proper ads! I didn't want to spend an age designing it so it's a basic design, and only consists of one page at the moment. Any suggestions for improvement would be appreciated.
It looks fine as viewed in Firefox Browser by the way I contacted you on this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=142106 Thanks
Thanks Britishguy. It seems to have reversed back to the old DNS so the version people will see now is the old site. I'll update this thread when the domain has fully being updated.
Yeah the divs overlay in FF right now and not in IE, but that might still be the old site I'm seeing ... might be a few more hours for the DNS fairies to finish up ...
It's not the old site, the new one is showing, I see an Adsense ad laying over a bunch of text as well.
Colors are easy on eyes, logo is very nice. The Adsense ads overlapped some text, it does look like formatting problem. (I used Firefox 1.5.0.6) . I would move the adsense to the right or under the logo. The way it is now, it comes up as the first thing I see. Unless of course you want your visitors to concentrate on adsense, I would move them.
Hm, the site is one page with external links. I don't get why would somebody pay for it, and why do you ask us for the review... I don't catch what I could review ... )
Yeah the adsense has caused a few problems, so I've withdrawn it until I can figure out what is causing the problems. Banjaluka, did you bother to read my first post? I'd suggest you do in future before giving feedback. As I said it is one page at the moment, because I want to get the template right, and then build content when the template is browser friendly.
Colleen / Anyone, does the webpage look okay in all browsers now - spent the last 2 hours trying to get it working argh! lol
i have seen an error by checking your sites on different browsers ... it is not aligned properly ... and this
What is the solution for this? Even I am facing a similar issue with one of my sites? Whenever Adsense ads are displayed in a div tag the alignment seems to go haywire (only in IE, FF seems fine).
Can somebody please review my site too? I'ts my first website and I dont know what to expect. Tips and info would be appreciated! visit the site at: www.arnold-dewet.com CHEERS
Welcome to DP! It would be better if you create a new thread for your website review. You would get more responses that way.
Thanks Heidi and everyone else - seems I have problems in Mac grr why can't browsers react the same lol! I'll have to look into that - could be the div's that it doesn't like.
