If you're into SEO then why on earth are you wasting your time chasing after a DMOZ listing? The same amount of effort spent elsewhere will yield far greater rewards. If you have PayPal and are tempted to use it send a donation to your favourite charity - it'll make you feel better, do some real good, and have exactly the same effect on your own marketing as donating it to an editor (i.e. none).

Just to be clear - asking in a forum for a site review to be expedited is 99.99% guaranteed to be counter-productive since if it happened once then editors would be flooded with such requests. The submission you made was your request for an editor to review your site and it is the only request that anyone would take any notice of.

You should focus more on linking building and getting some real quality backlinks.
Getting into DMOZ isnt everything, you shouldnt even bother with DMOZ these days. Try optimizing and gaining a real good PR. Focus on keywords and search engine results.

    Goodluck with your DMOZ quest.

I've never seen an editor appear to agree to expedite a listing for someone on request, let alone via a public forum. Probably not a good career move for an editor...

A question guaranteed to get your site and any others you are associated with permanently banned. Or get ripped off. None of the editors I ever heard of offering a listing for cash actually had the editing rights to carry it through.

You really think that your the only bright boy in the classroom do you ? I know what it means I was just waiting if there would be a reply of an amount. Ripped Off ? You might be totally out of your mind. I would rather put the money in your signature rather than pay a DMOZ listing. Capish ! ;)
