Can I put 2 diff products on same site?

Hi, I actually read the CB website and didn't find anything about this. Am I allowed to put 2 different product adverts on the same site/page ? One on header and other in sidebar for example?

    Thanks.

yes and no. i believe you are allowed to but you want to make sure they are in the same niche or catagory. for example, if you have a site on weight loss, you can have two simular products of weight loss or a product of weight loss and something related such as a skin cream to reduce stretch marks (as most overweight people have stretch marks.)

you would not want a weight loss product and then on the same page havea "how to build a chicken coop" ebook.

You smellin' what I'm steppin' in?

right. I understand that for better profits you have to add products that are in your niche ... I do not want to reveal my niche but I can tell you that I added two products that are almost the same.

    Thanks for respond.

    Of course you can ..

But I've noticed that individual reviews are always more effective. And I personally hate the 3/4 products review style landing pages.

You can but you may want to test which performs better. Don't assume more ads will create additional revenue, you may actually confuse the visitor and they won't buy any product.

Two products work for me, one of my sites is with the main product as the body of site and i actually use a banner I had created in the side bar that links to the second (related) product. I do well with sales from both. Never do more than two products and those two have to meet the criteria stated in the posts above.

Try testing, and when you have some results place two ads. (different) for the same product and then test this again.

yup. I just removed one product and replaced by the other one. I use PPC by a certain keyword. I left the product that does not use PPC at the moment by the keywords I use. I will let you know how it works. Budget is not high - £2/day. Lets see how it performs.

By 2 products do you mean you are promoting 2 products as an affiliate? If yes, try split testing both with 2 products and with 1. Niches are different and having multiple product reviews is a good thing sometimes(It gives option to the potential buyer)
Other times having 1 converts best.

On the other hand, if you mean having your own products on a single page, this does not sounds like a good thing. Trying to appeal to everyone generally means that you will appeal to noone = 0 Sales

Yes you can do that but make sure they are both of same related topics and make a comparison of both the products helping people to choose one from two of those products.

I'd suggest you stick to one product per page for better results.

Hmm, ok, I changed to one product and increased PPC. AdWords cost a lot. About £0.11/click, increased up to £2/day I get about 18 visits to site and 7-10 hops a day but not sales ... I think I may need to change PPC programme but have no idea what's-o-ever ... AdBrite? Yahoo ad ?

£0.11/click is very cheap. But the question is, what type of keywords are you bidding on? Its all a matter on what type of keywords you have, for instance some keywords might cost £2/click, but one can still manage to make a profit.

7-10 hops a day is very low, generally, one should test a keyword for 100 hops to see if it converts or not. however, be sure that the keywords you bid on have a high probability of landing sale.

for example: dont bid on keyword "cat" but bid on keyword "cat training guide" if you are promoting a cat training guide. (I know this is very basic but maybe you dont know this)

Another thing is that many people generally loose a lot of money (hundreds of dollars) with adwords before they learn how to make a profitable campaign

^^ yep. £0.11 a click is cheap, and at a rate of £2 a day you are never really going to learn if what you are doing is working or not. Either up your budget if you know what you are doing, or come back when you do - imo after doing a couple of months of article marketing and learning how keywords work generally and more about IM
