A few minutes ago I tried to visit http://www.godaddy.com , and I was presented with this screen. I made a screenshot and publishing it here. Anyone else having this problem ?
I don't get that message. Maybe they fixed it? In any case why buy from Godaddy when you can get the same price (or cheaper) with whois guard included at namecheap.
They have been having problems with this for weeks now. Really a shame. I am SO glad I didn't go with them when I bought my domain...
It is amazing when I see big companies getting infected. With their cash flow and expertise you would think they have better safeguards in place. With that said they also must have some pull with google as the warning was removed fast when it usally takes 24+ hours.
I have taken the screen shots and send it to godaddy for their information. My site also has been hacked 3 times within a 4 week.I am loosing my faith on godaddy.May be it's godaddy's x employ who is doing this type of job.
It was some faulty code which loaded wrong in Internet Explorer and FireFox, they didn't test it well enough before launch. It took them an hour or so to realize and then fix it. Then people continued to see it for some time because of browser caching.
It's their AJAX shit code which screws things up sometimes. It's all the shitty things with trying to implement a geo-redirect so that spanish speaking customers would see a different site, all in an attempt to baby the customer even more.
