Of course its going to have to be checked by the admin... If it wasn't checked by the admin, we would have a bunch of crap comments. Comments that aren't even relevant to what the site, article, post or page is about. So, with that being said, make sure that you do leave a USEFUL comment on any blog, pertaining to what the page or article has to offer and it will be approved all the time. Those admins that monitor and check these comments are where I want to leave mine, why, because I know that they are only going to allow relevant comments to the conversation going on in their website or blog If you just want to leave a comment in any old place or site, on thousands of different sites, then I suggest you go browsing around for a program that does this... lol.
