that means your visitors aware of google adssense links

A better way is change the design and color of the page .so people can't under stand the link. so they will click

    some tips

try to change the color of the ads

    try to change the position

Include some words like this ."please check the following parts" before the links
and include the parts after the links. This may get some clicks

Your ads position is very bad. Change it. You could put ads to near by "Latest Articles".

Since you run an article directory, you may want to use eZineArticles.com as a reference for adsense implementation =)

Its not possible from mine point of view if u get 1500 hits daily automaticly u get earning for impressions also per 100 hits we get 1 cent so u get 1 cents for imps only and about clicks include u r ad units below and above u r articles ...

Look at ezine, hubpages, squidoo....sites like this and learn how they are implementing adsense. Its always best to follow your superiors. Sites like that know whats making money.

Is your 1500 USA traffic paid traffic or organic traffic?
If it's paid, convention is always big ZERO, because probably it's automated traffic there is no real visitor for your site.

etc said it right, maybe you should try experimenting other ad placement, and try to see what works.
