    2CO? or MOneyBookers.

Both of it is considered good enough even though that there are not a lot of people using it thought IMHO.

You can also try getting a merchant account - there are several Authorize, GSPay, and Ecorepay are just some of the good merchant account providers out there. There are some that even allows you to run your own affiliate campaign.

If you are anticipating high sales volume from your digital products then I guess a merchant account would be good. However if we're talking about 1-10 sales a day for a $17 digital product then it may not be the best solution. You could try paypal, clickbank or paydotcom.

If you have too many chargebacks you can get your account terminated though- that's when you would probably need a high risk merchant account. The rates may be a bit higher but you have fraud protection and other features that paypal and other payment processors may not have.

I don't know if there's a lot of chargebacks on digital products (with a relevant content). But that's my main concern. What could happen with chargebacks and Paypal.

Charge back rates are highest on Digital Products because your customers know that Pay Pal will ask you to provide Tracking Information that you shipped the order through a reputed & well-known courier service. But in case of Digital/Downloadable products , you CAN NOT provide tracking info & shipping information. So, you will loose the case in 100% of the times & your customers will get back their money even though they have received their Digital products & fully working.

So, you can not do a damn thing against PayPal except loosing your Legit money.

In short , never sell a Digital/Downloadable Product through PayPal because Digital products are NOT covered by PayPal's SPP ( Seller Protection Policy) & you will loose your money 100% of the time when some fraudulent customer of yours Charges back after receiving their product.

I have already lost more than 1500 USD with PayPal & stopped using them completely.Better use Alertpay,Liberty Reserve or Moneybookers.

I know most people still prefer to pay by PayPal & i will loose some customers but it's ok.It's not worth to take the risk.Too much too handle.Stay away from PP.

Thank you for the input. What about paydotcom or another solution using Paypal? Does it help to prevent fake chargebacks on digital products?

I didn't use them so far but i think any company using PayPal will have the same effect as payPal themselves.Maybe any DP member here who uses Pay.com will be able to answer this question better.
