recently i have booked a domain name with .org TLD
the problem is that i am not getting any ranking in SERP when i analysed it i saw sites with same name with .com, .net TLDs are working for the same keyword for which i am targetting.
so islike that google gives the preferrance to only one site withe same name but with different TLDS ?

.org is one of the best domain name on the web...there is no reason why you will not get SE traffic...all it takes a bit time and you will be all set to go

You are probably not doing the same level of promotion on the .org that the com and the net are doing.

It is tough to answer a question as to why a domain does not rank without seeing the domain itself.

You are right google gives more preference to .com and .net and then to other TLDs. But you can top this TLDs with your .org TLD by doing SEO heavily.

Be patient and while you could worry about your rankings, add more original content to the site and Google will take care of the rest. From my experience, you should rank at least as high as the .com and .net, just have to have an old enough domain name.

Keep adding fresh content and re-check and re-verify the keywords you use. Sometimes keywords searched for in a niche change. Use the most current keywords you can find. Be sure when you add new content you do not add it too often-Google does not like that. Clare1956

A recently purchased domain will not appear in SERPs that frequently. First, it has to get crawled by search engines and the first thing you need is to get it crawled.

Than, put some time and efforts in adding some unique and optimized content for your site. Make a proper site with relevant keywords related to your site category and than wait for the results.

    Good luck,

Very important to have your main keyword in the domain name. Why not try and use other keywords that your competitors are not using - some of those that have fewer monthly searches or long tailed key words. Try some that have under 50,000.

.org is good enough, look at wikipedia, they are ranking at #1 for many keyword
The reason your site not being rank well is because your SEO is still not good enough, keep on work on it and you will get the result one day

TLD doesn't effect SERPs except for a local search that giving so much favor for a local TLD

Google does not give you any special treatment just because you have .com domain name. All the domain extensions can rank the same and it is your SEO ability that counts not what is your domain extension.

Yea google does prefer .com's and net's but .org still does pretty good. But also Google ranks according to domain Age and Backlinks of course.

    Hey,

I think that TLD can't effect your search engine ranking position for particular keyword
