Zune or iPod?

Anyone heard of the Microsoft Zune? More info about it can be seen in my blog or Vizuke.com website. Anyways, when it is released, will you switch to the Zune (if you are an iPod owner, or any other MP3 player owner)? It looks pretty amazing with its customizability.

 

Nope - not unless the Zune changes it's name and style.

Crap. Apple already stole the hearts of millions, no way can anyone creep in and steal the thunder. No way.

 

Ipode, Zune, Itunes, not much difference at all, they are waste of time and money since you can have it all with you PC and/or latptop.

Or In the worst case using your Palm or power mobile phone, so not need to follow the sheeps, sorry, IMHO

 

I like the look of the Zune - I think the WiFi sharing will go a long way!

 

iPod 100% , Class!

 

You're going to walk around with a laptop or a pc listening to music? - I doubt it. that would be highly impractical. The sheep mentality could be used for most things, doesn't mean it's right, and in this case it isn't right when you compare that to the idea of carrying around a PC to listen to 3-5mb mp3's! LMAO.

 

For me iPod, but i hope whole Zune thing will make one thing
make songs less expensive

 

The Zune music store is offering a flat-rate monthly subscription. It's called the marketplace.

 

I'll buy a Zune I just like new stuff....but don't know...I think they could have been a little more original..

 

they are having built-in FM tuner and also wireless capability .

 

You can get an FM tuner for the iPod. I don't get what the wireless capability is for. Can you download songs wherever a connection is available?

 

No, its for wireless streaming music off other nearby Zune owners so you can listen off each other's iPod, i mean Zune.

 

My question is...

WTF is up with M$ and it's complete loss of creativity? It seems these days that M$ is constantly scrambling to copy someone elses idea.

They need to go back to their roots and start coming up with new, innovative ideas.

Waiting...

 

Well not to be biased or anything, doesn't all ideas originate from a root idea?

Example:
- Internet was invented with communications as a root (telephones evolved into Internet).
- Desktop computers evolved into mobile computers
- mobile computers evolved into mobile pda's and handhelds.
- 8 tracks into cassettes
- cassettess into cd's
- cd's into mp3 cd's
- mp3 cd's into mp3 players
- and the list goes on and on to who knows what in the future.

I mean, if being biased on either Apple of Microsoft's side, a MS guy might say something like "Why does apple gets internet, didn't Bill Gates invented it?" So that's basically the same as the music industry. MS can make an mp3 player if they want.

 

I don't see anyone disputing that. But that doesn't change the fact that they seem to be taking everyone elses ideas and run with them. You may not mind this, it might bother you. Either way it doesn't change the fact.
