Who introduced you to adsense?

Not really sure if this would be better off in the off topic section but I figured I'd post it here as its quite fitting.

So, how did you hear about adsense? For me it was my uncle. He introduced me to it (as well as the idea of building a website) and I haven't looked back since

Edit: Another question, which came first for you? Making websites or making money? Eg did you have a website then realise you could make money off it or realise you could make money then make a website?

 

I wanted to make money legit online (though the other ways make wayyy more). and thats how i started with adsense

been 3 years, and to tell the truth, i can barely remember what i did yesterday. LOL

i expect i was surfing around in a forum somewhere and saw a post about the adsense program.

My brother told me about adsense to me... i used them almost one year..

 

I saw ADSENSE on some guy's website in early 2005, read about it, and joined up with it.

I believe I saw it on a site somewhere and thought that I could do it better

 

I guess a lot of people find out by trying to see if they can monetise their sites in some way and do some research.

I heard about Adsense through this very forum. Knowledge of this led me to an online extravaganza of income streams that I never thought possible.

Shoemoney indirectly introduced me to AdSense.

 

A friend of mine once logged onto his bank account and showed me a lot of money. I got interested in how he had made all that money through Google Adsense and my struggle to make money there began!

 

i had seen the ads but thought it was only for USA, then the board of my site started growing a LOT and i had to move to a dedicated server and i was struggling cause i was paying it right from my salary, then one of my users told me about it and then i read everything and was impressed they admitted people out of US.. yay.. i should give a try.. it took me a long time to start recovering the monthly payment of the server, but now has keep on growing

 

I kind of randomly heard about it on the internet somewhere a year ago, I think ebay? hehe, but I've only really been passionate about working with it for the last 4 months or so

 

I saw it being used on about 1,000,000 other pages, decided it was good enough for mine too!

 

I bought a 99p ebook on ebay, which described how to buy and sell domain names, then I found the Site development section in the forums, and went from there. I have realised I could make money, then built my sites.

 

I first heard about it through Google when I was helping a friend make a website. I read more about it and decided to put it on my site

i read about it on google home page like a year ago, then forgot about it, back then i thought it was only exclusive to big sites and web"masters".....only about 2 months i found out any one could make money off it...
