Hi, I just snatched an expired domain name with PR4, the domain has solid backlinks, since PR is google invention, my question is what's the best way to take advantage of such domain? if there's any. should i develop it based on same keywords, set up a redirect? your suggestions are much appreciated.

If you like the domain name keep it and enhance it. if not the best way is to sell.

Try to sell with higher price to get profit so fast.. if then you do not find a buyer. you still can develop to get profit from sell links and blogpost.

most unethical way is: search google cache or other cache and make a site looks same (from code as well) as the old one. Then change little by little over time to yours.

It will keep all the backlink and PR google recognized, however, it's very unethical

hahahahaha... it's unetical but effective. However, if you don't want to go in unethical way, keep the same niche and add content. Once you have enough content, sell the website at flippa.com / digitalpoint.com marketplace. Do it fast, Google PR won't last long.

The best action to take advantage of this domain is to develop it based on the same keywords. Or, the PageRank 4 may disappear during the next update of Google PR.

Use the keywords in the domain to determine what you will sell. If it not something you want I would flip it.
Have you checked the domain for fake PR. I have found high PR 4-6 domains with solid links in the past whose actual PR was 1-3!

You can do a redirect and it will pass some PR and age to the domain you're redirecting to. And you could also link from that domain to several other domains you own passing PR to them, but keep in mind that PR is for individual pages and not all the pages on the domain. Also keep in mind though that the websites that pass PR to you could decide to remove the link if they notice you've changed the page to much.
