Selling Niche 1 Year Old With Top 5 Rankings - Revenue Has Increased To $10 Per Month w/Ebay

Selling the site www.jonboattrailers.net on a domain I bought a year ago. I added ebay ads to it from ebay partner network 2 months ago and its earnings have been increasing steadily every month since then. Its got top 5 rankings for "jon boat trailers" which gets around 2000 searches per month. It has an almost 60% click thru rate. Its currently on the joomla cms, and its high optimized for SEO. I haven't tested or tried adsense but the buyer can easily add it to the site because joomla is extremely easy to use. Payment will be thru paypal and transfer process is pretty straightforward and easy for the buyer.

Why am I selling?

I have alot of these sites on my server and don't have the time to maintain and promote them. I will offer buyer opportunity to buy more similar sites and how to increase their earnings.

Quick question though...

Would this site be able to be transferred over to Wordpress? I've never used Joomla before and all my sites are built with Wordpress so it would be much easier for me to work with that.

First I have not installed any viruses on this site. Its a simple template with ebay advertisements. The only thing that might show up is an affiliate cookie. What kind of virus message are you getting?

One the second question theres no current way that I know of how to convert joomla to wordpress. Joomla is actually very simple and I will show the person who buys the site how to add content, manage the site etc along with transferring everything over. Its very easy to use.

 

I wasn't trying to accuse you of putting a virus on it, I was just saying that my Norton is telling me that a recent attempt to attack my computer was blocked every time I went to your site. Someone else may have uploaded a virus to it.

It seems fine now though so hopefully it was just a glitch or something.

I'm not sure how the ebay affiliate program works though. Do they need to buy something, place a bid, or just click on the link in order for you to make money from it?

You also said you have some other sites that are similar. Could you please PM me a list of all your sites that you would be willing to sell? I'm looking for ones like this that get a decent amount of traffic from the search engines, rank well, and earn a few dollars a month in Adsense or whatever else. If I like them, I can buy a few all at once.

My ESET NOD Antivirus is also reporting a trojan virus. It may not be you, but your site is infected. Check your server and hosting asap!

Let us know once this is resolved as I'm interested in the domain at least.
