Hi, can someone please steer me in the right direction with this problem! 2 years ago I bought the domain Drunker.com from Ebay for $2K. I know...what a mistake! But now what? Its a PR 2 site with 20 hits per day. Any suggestions what I can do to increase the traffic. I am targetting Alcohol Abuse, but maybe I should change my focus. Please let me know what you would do with this domain! Thanks!
PR ! = traffic. You need relevant backlinks from authority sites (sites that already rank well for your keywords). Quality content makes this process much easier. "alcohol abuse" is far to competitive a keyword to start with. You need to choose keyword with less competition, and I'm not sure a blog format is the best format for your niche.

I had a whole bunch of articles written all unique content last year! They are in my archives. I'm not sure what I did wrong, but maybe I am targetting the wrong niche! Any more thoughts?
I don't think the niche is the problem, I think it is your format. It is far too hard to find content, and quite frankly, there are far too many authority sites to have to settle for a site where you have to search for content. A blog format would work if you were posting about personal experiences on a struggle with alcohol and treatment. Use the adwords tool to find less competitive keywords. Do a search on google for those keywords and look at the top ten results. If you can't build a better site than most of those top ten, you should keep looking for keywords that you can compete with. Creating a quality site takes a lot of work and you just can't pay someone to write some articles, thrown them up on a blog, and expect to make good money. Adsense is great for those who can put the required hours to make it worthwhile.

That's not a bad idea. I second this! I would go to a site that had videos of funny people that were drunk doing stupid things. It's brandable too

Sounds like you need to get more backlinks to the site. Maybe add some viral content that people will share.
Keep in alliance with Government Committees which are working for same cause and encourage them to put your website links in partners.
