Thank you. If the thread starter had figured this out we could have halted this thread 6 pages ago and he'd be on the way to figuring stuff out. Now all he's got is a bunch of suggestions to "do link building and SEO" which wont help him at all given his current situation.
Initially we've to build google friendly website with good and low competitive keywords then build links with similar contents webmasters. It might good for you tooo. Actually, can we see your website among 27.....?
Traffic has always been the problem and from what I have found it just takes time. I have 3 sites and I am trying the article route. So far not to good.
Please tell me this is a joke!!! Is this Goodman Guy for real!!! lol Goodman i suggest you go back and read DLM Comments carefully, for they are probably the best advice you going to get in this thread. If you feel its not, please turn your pc off and sell it to your neighbor. Cause my man, web development is not then meant for you!!
First, we need to back track. Do some keyword research and check to see if there is any kind of demand for your keyword. Does it even get enough searches? Also, you need to check the volume of your competition. If your goal is to be on page 1 of google and yahoo - then you need to go where you have a chance. If the majority of websites on page 1 of Google have more than a PR5, their domain is like 10 years old, and they have tens of thousands of backlinks - then you may need to build your website around another keyword phrase. There is a chance that there are too many sites in competition for the same keyword (too much competition). For example - If you had 2 boxing rings with one boxer in each - which one would you choose: A) the ring with Mike Tyson in it. OR B) the ring with a novice fighter with little experience? You would choose B, right? It is the same way with SEO and marketing. You have to take the "smartest route" when you are starting out. Don't go straight at the Big Dogs right away. You have to make sure you build a solid foundation and have a game plan from the beginning or you will fail before you even start. Advertising and building all the "pretty" stuff on the site will just be a waste of time and the foundation will crumble at the end if it is not right at the beginning. So go back and check the "foundation" (which is what I talked about above). If your research tells you that one of your sites don't have potential - then don't waste your time. Just sell the site and move on. I use a software called market sumurai - and it has helped me out a lot!
I am pretty new to this forum, but just reading through all the advice I believe the best one was to sell and start over. Developing keywords into your site from the beginning will go a long way.
It good to have 27 websites.. you can work on strategies where each website is helping other. May be put ads / small banners of each website on other website along with regular ads. well in this case you hav a benefit of many votes for any website and on the other side you have to work on all websites... take 1-2 website at a time.
frigin hilarious thread... nice work getting all these people to visit your site (about how to get traffic... that gets no traffic... wtf !?!) That's how internet marketing is done black hat style... focus on people wanting to help and use them to drive traffic to your site. You can learn a few things about getting traffic from this guys method.
Interesting thread. So sorry to hear that all 27 websites have no traffic. I think instead of spending money to rewrite articles or anything else at the moment, you can check out the top article directories, and check out the top articles. Observe the content, notice the keywords and the author resource box, then check out hte website. Try to learn the success factors, and re-write all the 27 websites. There is no short cut to getting quality traffic from search engines. However, once you done it correctly, you can see traffic from search engines arriving continously.
Hi dlm i hope Mr. Goodman441 is so intelligent he might have doing some special seo works so i want to congratulates him for best of luck and get more visitors and more sales... and all of DP members too.
Hello everybody!! I wish Mr Goodman441 luck with his endeavors. My comment to him is this: Your first mistake is having so many sites. With that many sites, you could be mistaken as a phishing company. Every day, all day, we are bombarded by advertising....be it from cigarettes to yaghts. There are just too many ads generated. People just see it for a split second and dismiss it just as fast. This is a fast-paced society, nothing like it was twenty years ago. People want service 'right now'. It's a shame to say it but it's true. Second mistake is being spread too thin. With so many sites, how can you stay focused on the business at hand....which is getting your products sold. As I read very early in the comments, create 30 or so pages for just that one site. Also, how well is your tracking? What I'm meaning to ask is, how in the world can you keep track of so many sites? You must go to sleep and wake up with a headache or something. I know I would. I'd like to know just what you're selling that would require you to be spread so thin. Secondly on this topic, do you REALLY trust the sites you're using? What I'm trying to do is understand what made you get so many sites. Lastly, Everyone has opinions, both good and bad. Since you decided to enter the business market, be prepared for attacks like the negative ones that have been posted here. You have to take both the good and the bad, take a breath, and plan from there. It's a good idea to have only two sites, one which is a test site and the other the actual site for real business. I'm sure you'll enjoy the outcome with less stress hanging over your head. Another good thing to do is to seek help from a professional. Ask around, get nosty, poke and prod. Many businesses around the world today have started that way. Good Luck, Werkaholik of <°)))>< Werkaholik Productions, Inc. ><(((°>
Isn't it the time to concentrate on a single website and push it to the top ? I've done the first mistake in my first few months online... bought 40 domains and ended up earning nothing ... You'll need to put your efforts into one website at the time if you don't have large budgets to outsource all the work involved in maintaining 27+ websites. Al.
Have you tried Press Releases? Those seem to work just as well as adsense, link building, etc. What type of sites do you have, I hope you dont mind that I asked..
I've only been here for a short time, and I'm seeing more and more people just shooting out random sentences, without any proof or basis. Original poster: I suggest you sit down an analyze each of your 27 sites, and determine what value they truly offer a visitor. If they give value keep them, but you've gotta figure out why your traffic lacking. Do you have analytics installed? If you do can you post a screenshot of your traffic?
Most of them do sell a product, or software. 3 Membership sites.... 3 or 4 wordpress blogs with ClickBank links on them....
Really appreciate it. I'm fully agree with your ppinion. Best of luck Goodman441 try to Analise each website and specify topics for them and write content uniquely lastly post your links to different social sites, web directories...
