Hi I am very new to affiliate marketing, and spent the last 3 months learning about it, i have purchased some products (from Click bank and other places) that claim it will increase my clickbank sales, but it did not work like Pay Per Click facebook ads cheap banner marketing Free web2.0 marketing and article marketing Some I know could work, but require time and effort so please list a strategy that you have personally tried and you know it works thank you guys
I suggest you start with article marketing a free method of advertising. Setup a blog, keep promoting your blog giving it backlinks and submit it to social networking site and gain exposure to your blog then what every product you promote do it with your blog address so you gain more popularity every time a product is promoted through your domain. The higher the pr your blog can get the better and faster you could make sales after the blog is recognised as a quality site by the search engines. Also use forums to drive traffic .
There is no other magic pill... these are generally the main methods of traffic available to you if you generalize... If you have approached affiliate marketing completely fresh within the last 3 months and you have already tried these 4 methods then I am not suprised you have not seen any results. Any one of these paths will usually take a couple of months to get to grips with, to stop doing the things that dont work and scale up those which do in any method and start making money. It seems that you have dabbled in each area but learnt nothing of use in any... if you stick to just one method and really pursue it you will gain knowledge, experience, and results. As suggested above I would go with just 1 - article marketing, learn it inside out, it will give you a great foundation to try paid advertising and knowledge and exerience of how the internet works and how traffic can, how keywords work etc etc. If you want a free guide then try: http://www.bummarketingmethod.com It is totally free and teaches the basics of how to generate traffic for free - i.e. it is so free that even a "Bum" could use it to make money.
What do you expect to make money out of thin air ? It's business, some of us are working 16 hours a day to make a living online, there is no magic trick and just like I don't believe in getting rich overnigt ... most of you shouldn't either since aff. marketing is a tough game to play. Hang around the forums and you'll get the ball rolling soon ... but without taking action you'll probably never be able to make a living online. Action is what it takes to succeed! Al.
I have never had any luck so far with clickbank products. Tried many ways of marketing them but they just don't convert. I've found the amazon aff. program much more useful Just my two cents
join cpalead, i;ve seen people earn $25,000 in a single daym they always pay and always pay on time - pm me if you want my aff link and i'll give some free pointers ;-)
It's not dead, but since there is competition on most keywords it takes efforts to outrank the existing sites or articles. Just submitting articles can make you a few sales here and there but for consistent traffic the articles need to be ranked for long tail keywords. Al.
Everything evolves but it's certainly far from dead, article marketing has just too many forms, from making your own blogs, to posting on article directories, to making web2.0 sites like hubpages, squidoo etc, and then linking them together to rank them... there is just so much in this area it is impossible to say it is dead.
Im really new to this as well. But the best advice ive heard is concerntrate on something that your passionate about or know a lot about. Focus on the content build up a following and then go looking for affiliates and ones that match what your talking about. Like I said im new to this but it seems like pretty good advice to me. Good luck!
Its really strange to hear that you have failed in such a useful methods, I am also doing PPC and successfully selling my CB products
It must be frustrating. Internet marketing is tough! Welcome to the real world of marketeers who will sell you just about anything. I was lucky to have stayed focussed on the so called program I bought and three months down the road I have made well over $1000. One thing I would suggest is that you learn from this forum. Just ask questions, and "Take Action". There is not "Magic Bullet" - get down and do the hard work!
Just thought to drop some experience I have so far for you. I made my first steps on IM by learning on forums like DP. After a long time of reading and trying to learn everything I finally found myself ready to start. But even when I started "taking action" I didn't see any sale or money for about 3-4 weeks. However, I didn't give up on anything and learned more about IM every day. (I can say taking action does speed up the process on becoming successful) Now, after 5-6 months, I really start to see better results. The main reason for this is the learning process I've gone and pushed myself through. Good luck.
I know people like to bash some of the IM products on Clickbank, but there is a lot of good information that can be found in those products. It's just that people think they are going to buy an ebook today and have $1000's in the bank the next day. When that doesn't happen they give up and start bashing the product or service. Having an internet business requires time and effort (most of the time more time than just going to your 9-5 Job). All of the stuff listed in this post like PPC, Article Marketing, Web 2.0 marketing, banners etc ... works. But you still have to put in the effort. Sid
$1000's a day is what some of the top vendor's in Clickbank earn not for the average newbie. (Imagine that $1000 - is roughly 100 sales driven by affiliates), you need a couple hundreds of affiliates to make such amount of sales. I'm not saying you can't make that as an affiliate but it's a tedious process/ that needs to be done constantly for months or even years. It's business anyone can invest a bit of money to start outsourcing and "cutting" their way short to the top. Al.
