I released a new WordPress plugin called "Spammer Blocker"

I am very lazy to manually block IP adresses of spammers. So I decided to make a special plugin that makes this instead of me.

My plugin Spammer Blocker blocks all spammers who posted a comment that was later marked as a spam.

I appreciate comments, suggestions and bug reports.

So how does this works?
I get a spam comment and mark it as spam.
Then the plugin will automatically mark the next post from that IP as spam?

 

No. This plugin will ban the author of the comment until you approve his comment.

 

I made an upgrade.

In the next version of the plugin you will have an option to deny visitor's access or just disallow posting comments.
There will be also a custom ban message.

 

This is already default in the Wordpress settings...

 

I do not agree. WordPress is not able to block visitor's access yet.

I meant that every spammer will be punished by banning his IP address.
