Backlink is The Core of SEO, Is It True?

SEO = On-Page Optimization + Off-Page Optimization

Proportion of SEO:
On-Page Optimization = 25%
Off-Page Optimization = 75%

Quality Backlinks = Off-Page Optimization

Quality Backlinks = To get top ranking & to maintain top ranking in SERP.

Everything is true? Please advise if i was wrong!

Content first. With content will come natural backlinks.

The way a site becomes an authority is by having more inbound links than it does outbound. This is what you want to aim for.

Get great content written and submitted correctly and the links will come naturally - but the content is also something fresh for Google to see every time it comes back to your site.

Write 30 documents and release them at a rate of 1 a day on your site. After a month you have some great fresh content and keep doing this

There are many website product get top 10 ranking for many keywords.
They didn't update content for a long time.

They have probably been around for a long time or already have lots of links back in. There are many reasons why one site will rank above another and each needs to be looked at on its own merits. Impossible to say otherwise.

in theory google wants fresh and original content followed by organic links. but only that will take a very long time to grow a site. so beside that help yourself a little by using forums/blog, social networking, because only good content won't do much.

Yes, for me i would give A++ for link building with high pr dofollow backlinks. And all my site got indexed and increase pr due to those backlinks i made myself.

 

To my mind, the optimal proportion of on-page and off-page SEO is 50%/ 50%, because qualitative contents is as much important as qualitative backlinks.

 

It is absolutely perfect that content is king for a site and back links also play a important role to rank a site in search engines. Always consider quality and relevent links then quantity.

 

People are putting ever more emphasis on backlinks, and yes they are very important. But people will generate links to you whether on their blog or by social boomarking if your content is good. So content is still king.

if your blog has a very very good quality content but no backlinks, it is useless, right ?

Absolutely right. It's fairly easy to get onto page 1 but you need to continually build up your content and backlinks to stay there.

 

Well, backlinks are basic element of SEO but the SERPs are really important for me. If our sites are not on the top of SERPs, we wont get huge traffic and thus sales would get effected. Therefore SERPs are more important for me.
