I am not sure if it got to relate to the country you come from... but I feel as long as you provide quality content, Adsense should approve the site regardless of background.
so from mine point of view so many people use sub domains so dont ever apply from sub domains just take one dot com website and write unique 15 articles ...

When you create a blog with blogger, blogspot and wordpress you are creating a sub-domain. When you apply for free hosting with bravenet or any other free hosting company they offer only sub-domains. You will get approved if you have legit, fresh and unique content, including the fact that you're not breaking any adsense rules prior to applying.
Its good news that they have approved your adsense account 'quickly' but remember they can also take it away 'quickly'

it is my first time seeing any person who has approved account with in 4 hours, my account has been approved after 10 days.
hmm, but they may not be approving subdomain now, But I am not sure, but they allow blogger subdomains i think. anyways how many days passed ?
