How to promote website in the Yahoo UK listings

    Hi,
    I have a website which is focused on the UK Visitors. Domain name is NOT UK (.me) and IP address is Irish. So my website is not appears in the Yahoo UK. How to fix this problem? Should I buy an additional UK domain name and make a redirect to origin website? Will it solve this issue? What happens with my ratings (Yahoo, Google, Bing)? Seems to me my rating will go down.
    Or I should optimize my website for UK keyword?
    What is the best solution?
    Any other advice?

    I thought that the one of the main criteria for the search engines is unique content. If I will buy the UK's domain name, how it will affect my SEO rating? I afraid it will go down? Am I right?

    You should get backlinks from .uk domains to promote your website in Yahoo and other search engines for your desired country (UK).
