How much are you paying currently for 100mbps un-metered server? please provide me some price samples based on network (pure tier-1 bandwidth and network without tier-1 bandwidth).
Doing a market research for pricing my servers. Thanks but i would like to know how much people pay for bandwidth. Like what would be the cheapest tier-1 bandwidth available these days.
For a large bandwidth servers with 100 Mbps to 1TB port speeds, I highly recommend looking into 100TB solutions - http://100tb.com/ 100TB has very affordable servers with large amount of bandwidth that are reliable.
It's depending on the network quality, shared or dedicated bandwidth, etc. The price range can be from $99-$2,000/mo. So, just set your own price that gives you some profit.
From my personnel experience with 100tb, i will never go near uk2 group again. Their sales department is so bad that its the worst among all the companies i have worked with. VINAX thanks for the information, can a shared tier-1 bandwidth be brought for $99? USA based servers.
A lot of web hosts with good network providers are in the United States. I think you need to do the search. You will be able to find some good there.
you can get unlimited bandwidth with fasthosts: http://www.fasthosts.co.uk/dedicatedservers/ £59.00 is the cheapest they do. Guess thats around $80.
Used them fir 5 years and spent near on 30k with them. Never had any problems and there tech team is live 24/7 and normally answer within 1 minute. They are highly recommended.
Sorry my friend, unlimited bandwidth doesn’t exist; if you know a little bit about servers you do not write down such a brainless post.
What?? Why would I write it if it didn't exist? In addition I also wrote that I had been with them for five years!! So before making such an idiotic post why don't you actually check out the bandwidth section on their dedicated servers website.
OK. Their terms make the following quite clear... Terms of Service - Dedicated Servers UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH FOR NEW DEDICATED SERVERS - Unlimited bandwidth and up to 10240 Kbps connection included for the life of the dedicated server package Hardly an "Unlimited" package sticking you with an UPTO 10Mbps connection. 10Mbps isn't miserly, but it is nowhere near the definition of "unlimited" either and would give the average busy server a comfortable transfer limit of 2000Gb given peaks/troughs of average web site traffic patterns. It would be capable of around 3210GB a month if maxxed out 24.7, but if you're maxing it out then 10Mbps is not large enough for your server. -..subject to a minimum 12 month contract. fair enough I suppose But, wait a minute..... - Unlimited bandwidth and high speed connection subject to Acceptable usage policy (for new dedicated servers) - Unlimited bandwidth and high speed connection are subject to our acceptable usage policy (existing dedicated servers) what does that mean? Terms of Service - Acceptable Use 2.1.10 to use excessive amounts of server resources. These include bandwidth, processor utilization and / or disk space. So, they still operate an "excessive bandwidth" policy despite their "unlimited" offer. I'm not saying they are different from a lot of other dedicated server companies, but "unlimited" bandwidth is most definitely NOT on offer. The connection of 10Mbps - which is the true and accurate measure of bandwidth - is clearly LIMITED to 10Mbps.
I have to agree that 100tb.com is a great provider. If you are looking for cloud hosting I would go with rackspace!
