Sure and with staggering similarities to the Bible. Wonder what's more credible then, the book you consider full of inserted and deleted parts or the book that copies and rewrites parts of that.

Not saying the Bible hasn't been altered when it came time to put it all together, but then what does that make the Quaran when applying the exact same logic?

this is not case of our discussion but history of Koran in brief is:
prophet Mohammad couldn't read and write so Koran had three writers that they wrote Koran in pieces. you have to know that one of the writer became pagan and escaped from Medina (Yassreb) and our prophet accused his to change some parts.
Koran gathered as a book in Omar (second caliph) times, several years after our prophet died. Omar commanded all the pieces of Koran gathered from there and erased some pieces that were unrelated.

Similarities does not imply borrowing. This is an age-old claim of the Orientalists that has been refuted time and time again. Otherwise you are going to have to apply that same "logic" to the Bible as well. Can you explain why the Epic of Gilgamesh has strong similarities to the story of Noah in the Bible?

As said before, the Bible and Qur'an have two different modes of transmission. The book which we know as the "Bible" today came into conception after hundreds of years of trial-and-error and finally formed into a "canon" during the Council of Nicea in the 3rd century CE. The Qur'an, however, was revealed over a period of 23 years and its final form remained the same until this very day. What is so hard to understand about this simple fact?
