Hi, Thank you very much for your appreciation. I have made change in the icon as you have mentioned and now it looks like this.
Hopefully from my advice, everyone should work out a) Simple is better, b) What colours I'm looking for and c) I need the logo to have some sort of relevance to people/events @bhuthecoder I like the first logo you designed, although think it could be improved a little. Not keen on the text. @lilianchen I think the logo with the people icons going around in the circle has some legs... @BS_webdeciphers Can you remove the outer pieces of the logo, while just keeping the 4 inner pieces and maybe touch them up to roll around in a circle a little more, and perhaps add some shadding or add another element so it stands out a little more? As I mentioned in the spec, keeping the logo simple is the key. @Sabosushimi It's a great effort, but not really what I'm looking for. @LianeYoungBlogger Although the logo is on the right path (colours, it's simple etc.), the current version isn't really doing it for me. @kumara1234 This doesn't really go inline with my spec and the example logo that I'm keen on. @Be Different I like the logo (not keen on the text) however think it could be improved by a) making the people move round into a circle and b) adding a bit more flair to the people icons. @Chewysmom I like the 2nd logo you did... although can we remove the text, the stars and the green icon? And somehow move the blue icon down a little, although keeping it within a tight fit with the other 2 icons? This is my fav so far.
Those people are not your designs, they are someone elses so it cannot be used as a brandable logo for a company.
It`s a free to use source. are you telling me that every image used in a design most be drown by me? The protected chars, cartoons or art work usually has a watermark on it unless i buy to get it, i`m free to use it wherever i want since i paid for it. If those people are someone else, will i buy it from that someone for 10000$ they are mine now, thou.. GET LOST! snap!
So are you saying you bought that image to use? Which site did you buy it from? You will find that most stock photo sites like that often sell the image with the conditions that it may not be used as a LOGO DESIGN. Are you saying that any image on the internet that you find without a watermark is free to use? Regardless whether you bought the image or not, a logo is a brandable image that a company is recognised for. How can a stock image, like the one you used, be unique to that company if anyone and everyone can buy permissions to its use. This company would not be allowed to trademark this image, so what is the point? I suggest you do some research on what a logo actually is, rather than finding a stock image online and adding text to it. snap!
Did`t i mention! i paid another 10k to get the promotion to use it for LOGO DESIGN i`m not arguing.. GET LOST!
You paid $10,000 dollars for an image in which you will use as a logo for a $20 competition, that sounds believable. Get lost? Real mature. I'm not arguing with you anymore either, just thought the CH would like to know you did not design that image unlike everyone else who has designed their images. Sorry CH for clogging up your thread, some people just don't know what a logo design is I guess.
Thanks @+dd. KRS25 for letting me know - it's much appreciated. Everyone - The logo needs to be original and no stock imagery will be accepted.
thank you for feedback this is the only way I could bring the blue icon a bit lower, I hope it's better. I think it is
@EvoWRZ® - This is not what I'm lookign for. @Chewysmom - Is this a stock photo or did you design this yourself from scratch? This is important as we are about to incorperate the comapny. @BS_webdeciphers - I like the one in the middle best! @Be Different - Thanks!
