@ deluxdon In case you wish to know the exchange rate Paypal is offering, when you click on "Withdraw funds to bank account", there is a link with the name "currency converter". I guess, whatever currency rate comes out there, Paypal offers the same ! Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks
I have not checked Paypal rate as not looking to withdraw now... having done it two day back! The spot rate is pretty exciting... quoting at 47.526! Yes... that is surely the official and ideal way to know Paypal's rate. Regards, RightMan

Just checked in PayPal, the current exchange rate is 1 US Dollar = 45.8737 Indian Rupees. Getting higher and higher day by day as Sensex is falling.
The last fall came pretty unexpected for me and so I guess I withdrew my paypal funds a bit early! The market has recovered lot of lost ground today itself and so expect a bit of respite in the rise of dollar rate as well! Regards, RightMan
$ rate will till grow up, I withdraw almost 60 today at 45.95 Rs / $ rate, However if Dow goes below 9800 Level then we will again see a downfall in Indian market, that will make us happy I have strong feelings that Nifty will go around 4600 level that means $ rate will be ard 47=48 level. Time to cash our money..
You are spot on! And always remember.... since there is no resistance to a rising market. In the same manner, there is no support to a falling market. Some people believe Nifty would go as much down as 4200! This would translate to dollar rate close to 50! Regards, RightMan

Well its very hard to predict anything nowadays since stock markets and money markets are highly volatile. We just have to take decisions according to time and current economic scenario.

The stock markets have raced up as expected but the fall in dollar rate has not happened to the same extent as it still quotes at 46.46 in the spot market. I guess it is mainly due to the fact the rally has come about due to local buying and FII's are still continuing to sell! Regards, RightMan
spot rate is 46.53 down 46 paise and paypal is offering 45.513, those who wanna withdraw should withdraw quickly before paypal updates today's rate in their system. Cheers...
It was 45.69 INR in the morning, when I withdrew some money. As soon as I saw this rate, I started calling all of my pending invoice holders to release the payments and when all were done and I returned to paypal to do the 2nd withdrawal for the day, its 44.9 INR now. Damn, I was almost ready to hit my head on the CPU.
Do not worry... as I do not see much more drop in the dollar rate from here on. In fact, it might just begin to start rising if it could just hold on to the present level... as it is a good support area! Regards, RightMan
