The Hockey season is about to start

    To start things off, I'm off course talking about the hockey that's played on ice. :D

    On Monday the Swedish league starts and I'm hoping for my local team Timra to have some success this year. They've managed to sign Jonathan Hedstrom who left the NHL for this season and he'll be a fantastic addition to the squad.

    The NHL starts in October and I've always been a Canucks fan.

    Do we have any ice hockey fans here at DP?

    i also should like the TML but i live in vancity so i will say the sens only because of the heat, spezza and redden......but i love the puck in general........but go canada. =)

    Canucks suck!

    I'm in Vancouver, but I'm still a big Canadiens supporter...Patrick Roy has had me hooked since '85, no matter where he went!

    Also a big fan of the QMJHL in Canada (Quebec Major Junior Hockey League). Go Mooseheads!

    Yah hockey isnt really popular were I live, heres a hint, a certain loved president use to live here, though I am Canadian by birth and Ive always been partial to hockey, I dont hate the canucks but my favorite team has always been the penguins no contest.

    How can one hate the Canucks? You need to get your heads checked. ;)

    Yesterday was a good hockey day. Timra won their season opener (Hedstrom scoring twice) and the mail man came with two (in case I replace one, I guess) copies of the NHL 07 video game. :D

    I haven't seen anything good from the canucks in years... I think Maple Leafs, Flames and (hate to say this but) even Oilers are better than them.

    Yeah, I've always seem to be rooting for the underdogs. Not something I've chose it's probably the effect I have on the teams. :D

    Well today were the first games of the season and the Leafs dissapointed me a little bit...lately I've been wondering if I can just fill out an application and give some references and maybe I can play for them...bad start but either way I'll try and keep my hopes up :D
