I believe, It is hard to do. Trying to consume candies really helps to cope with when you are tempted to smoke.
really easy, when you want to smoke you imagine you sucking on your car's exhaust fumes. and you think your child is still in great need of you. ok
Then you won't. I smoked cigarettes for only 2 years, straight, two packs every 3 days and didn't think I was TOO heavy of a smoker considering it's common for other people to smoke more than a pack a day. I only bought menthols but would smoke other cigs if I didn't have money to buy my own. Anyways, I suddenly began feeling horrible pains in my chest in both lung areas, real sharp and i would feel them every time the blood would flow through (every heartbeat) and it became so stressful and unbearable I had to rush to the ER in incredible pain. When I got to the doctor I was given 4 different pain killers right away and had to breathe in straight oxygen , pausing to hack up black phlegm every 1 - 2 minutes.. I had to be on a respiratory device for the next 5 weeks and use an inhaler every 4 hours for long time until I got to the point where I didn't need it anymore. I also smoked LOTS of weed for 9 years on top of smoking cigarettes and PEOPLE: If you're gonna smoke something, pick one or the other, (weed is much more recommended if you HAVE to smoke something, but, remember: you don't have to smoke anything.) but pick one or the other because mixing them is what caused my problems. In my opinion, cigarettes are one of the worst drugs mankind has ever produced. It's up there with crack and meth and harder to quit than heroin. I haven't touched a cigarette in 3 months and absolutely never will again. I've gotten the urge to smoke a cigarette every single day since the day i quit and each urge was stronger than the last, however all i had to do was remember the incredible pain i went through and how terrible the pain was and remind myself that I will never put myself through that again, no matter what! Not one puff ever again, because if you're a smoker and you tried to quit, you know that it only takes one puff to be back to buyin' packs. I can hang out around people smoking cigarettes and not even consider the thought of taking a drag now. It was a struggle to get there but I did it, and you can too. Honestly, it's a great feelin' to not need a cigarette, for real. I typed this long post because I'm pretty passionate about the harms of cigarettes and it makes me feel good to know that I might make a couple people think twice. Just remember: cigarettes are a form of population control enacted by the government, weed is illegal because it heals you constantly and makes you not have to go to the doctor. Quit smoking cigarettes unless you like the thought of being another statistic. By the way, I quit smoking weed for personal reasons when I quit smoking cigarettes . I haven't touched either since but I , personally, am a very strong supporter of marijuana use and think it should be more widely accepted than smoking cigarettes. Just so you know..
I dont smoke because I dont want to waste money on something that makes you feel bad and makes your mouth smell.
It still surprises me that so many people smoke today when they are well aware of the health issues involved. I live in CA and we are lucky enough not to have to be exposed very often to second hand smoke but when we travel out of state it's another thing.
I think smoking is great. I love it. Not those stupid Marlboro Lites. Full strength king size PallMall reds with no filter or, if I am in Belgium, Johnsons or StMichelle, also no filters. I feel that if you are going to smoke, smoke something worthwhile, it is better not to smoke than to smoke those lite crapolas.
There's nothing better than a relaxing smoke. I hate it when someone tries to tell me what I should or shouldn't do. As long as I don't smoke near others, it's none of anyone's business.
Smoking dosn't kill, it's smoking related diseases that cause things such as cancer. You see smoking is carcinogenic which means it can lead to an increased chance of cancer, the chemicals in smoke are no way near at any deadly levels so infact you can not die from smoking, drinking alcohol you can. There's a lot of things that are carcinogenic here's the top 10. 1. Any charred food - from burnt popcorn - to burnt toast, is highly carcinogenic. 2. Meat in general (in terms of the fats associated) is carcinogenic, especially overcooked meat. 3. Sugar is carcinogenic - whether white or brown. Instead of sugar, substitute honey 4. Stomach cancer is associated with high salt intake, with spicy foods and smoked food 5. Sodas are carcinogenic for a variety of reasons beyond their high sugar content and harmful additives. Sodas have also been proved to leach the minerals - principally calcium - that are temporarily gained through other healthier foods 6. Trans fats found in fries and snack chips are carcinogenic 7. Artificial sweeteners, particularly aspartame, are carcingogenic 8. Excessive alcohol intake is toxic 9. Foods cooked at high temperatures usually contain acrylamide. According to the FDA: Acrylamide is produced industrially for use in products such as plastics, grouts, water treatment products, and cosmetics. Acrylamide is also found in cigarette smoke.Acrylamide caused cancer in animals in studies where animals were exposed to acrylamide at very high doses. Acrylamide causes nerve damage in people exposed to very high levels at work. 10. Farm-raised fish and fish products contain high amounts of PCB's.
