Paypal Payment from Debit card ( India )

I have a debit card confirmed attached to paypal and I have a backup source credit card also attached.

Now I want to make a payment to someone, and I have $4 in Paypal, but I would like Paypal to make instant payment and cut the money from my Debit Card, NOT my credit card.

I just tried sending someone money and Paypal told me this is where the money is going to be cut from

Why is it going to my Credit Card directly? Why isnt it going to my Debit Card?

Basically I want Paypal to cut money from Debit Card and not Credit Card.

i can not make any payment from my CC because my credit limit is less and the purchase that i am willling for make is for a bigger amount that my CC limit so that is the reason that i attached my Debit card and Bank account.

i am making a purchase from Ebay.com ... any other alternative or solution ?

    what to do ?
i user HDFC ( CC) and ( Debit card )
    and SBI ( BA )

    :(

I am afraid Paypal will not be able to directly do debits in your debit card or even bank account... as I guess they are not legally permitted by RBI to do so. They have the option to remove funds only from a credit card and hence it is the only funding source.... available to you! :(

as my account limit is for an example 500 $

and i am suppose to make a payment of 1000 $

is it possible that i could transfer 500 $( cc money balance available ) to my paypal account first... ( use all the credt card money )

and then deposit another 500 $ to my cc account and fill up my paypal account ?

thanks for the rep right man :)

Yes... that is an ideal way to fund your paypal account if you have a lower limit on your credit card. Fund the paypal with your full limit at the first instance and then replenish your credit card to fund your paypal again! :)

i just saw this message when i clicked add funds :(

    Add Funds Is Not Available
PayPal does not currently offer the ability to add funds from your bank account.

When you make a payment, PayPal charges the buyer's credit card and instantly credits the seller's PayPal account.

    what to do ?

Well , as rightman said , remove ur CC and try , no other option left :)

btw , as u stated ur CC limits are less , and can pay via debit card , than y dont u deposit some cash from ur bank a/c to ur cc ?? tht would gv u some credit balance and can easily pay via ur cc

hope u understood what i meant to say..

Well you will be charged the current prevailing conversion rates. But no service charge will be applied either by the bank or PP.You don't even have to make the VCC of the exact amount you want to purchase. The excess amount will automatically get refunded into your account automatically.

I have already told you in my earlier posts that debiting directly to an Indian bank account or its debit card is not possible. You have to withdraw funds from your credit card into your Paypal upto the maximum limit at the first instance... and then replenish/pay your CC from your bank account. Continue this process till you have got the required amount in your Paypal! :)
