The Importance of "powered by wordpress MU"

    Well, this question is a bit weird to me but it is equally intriguing.

    I want to know what is meant by "powered by wordpress MU" and it's sginificance to SEO.

    "Powered by WordPress MU" means the site is using WordPress MU as the blogging/CMS platform. It has no value to your site.

    "powered by wordpress MU" or "even powered by wordpress" may be more of a hazard. lines like this are use in google searches for massive attacks on wordpress/mu.

    okay but is it in any way different from "powered by wordpress"? I am particularly puzzled by the extra term MU

    There is no SEO importance or whatsoever in mentioning that sentence. But programmers give credit to WordPress and to themselves also.

    "MU" is another version of Worpdress. Wordpress Muli User.
    http://mu.wordpress.org/

    IT is different from single user Wordpress because it supports multiple blog installations across subdomains or folders of your primary or root domain.
    On the next update of Wordpress, functions from both platforms will be combined so that there will only be one version of Wordrpess that does all things.

    Yes that will be good for us as Wordpress 3.0 will solve this issue and I used beta for while and I am impressed with new version. Eagerly waiting for WP 3.0
