How much do u think paypal should charge on receivng an amount of $5.00..? guess .. how much did they deduct for me .. $0.50 for every 5.00$.. I received the amount from two people and for both paypal deducted the amount as mentuioned above.. is it not 2.9% + $0.30 USD..according to that it comes out to be 0.445$ for every 5.00$.. but why did they deduct 0.50$ for 5.00$
Well, Paypal Charges is 3.4% of the amount + 30 Cents. And That 2.9 was some years before if am right. The new details are from Paypal's Official Site itself..
The rate is still 2.9% for US to US transactions. The rate is 3.9% if receiving money from outside the US. https://www.paypal.com/us/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_display-xborder-fees-outside&countries= 3.9% = 30 cents on $5 = 50 cents
So, does it mean I recieved the amount from outside U.S.?.. IS there a way I can know the amount I recieved from the person is ouside U.S...?
I still do not get it...this is the screen shot which I get when I transfer 0.01$$ TO THE sender..!! He IS FROM U.S.A.!!. and for USA it is supposed to be is it not 2.9% + $0.30 USD..according to that it comes out to be 0.445$ for every 5.00$.. what are the reasons .. anyone explain it to me..
they own the market, it's just like paying hi dollar for gas.. we complain about it.. but were still going to use it! What other choice do we have?
Well, go to the transaction details and look clearly to the right of the Sender Name and you can see Whether they are verified and US or No Us Resident. And Yeah, If You are hanging out with US - US transactions, Simply tell your Payee to Use the personal Option so No one risks taxes And one its out of the country, The receiver will leave up some taxes. better ask the payee to Add the tax amount too once they send you funds.. Did you get that huh?
I did n ot get that.. can u please explain it with screenshots along with the charges deducted and how it works out
Now a days PayPal is charging more than previous days. I don't know what happened to PayPal. For sending $10 it is deducting $1. If this continues to happen like this, we have to search for other option.
This is the way the paypal earns dude , u have to accept this HARD truth... and far as i know its 3.9% for all , there is no USA or NON usa
All the Cross-Border Payments is 3.9% + $0.30 ($3000 and below) 2.9% + $0.30 is only for the Domestic Payments (US > US)
Just search paypal fees calculator on google as some are for different countries and account types etc.
yes personal payment is the best if you want paypal wont take any fees. but please be careful of personal payment might paypal will ask more info of it.
