My website is getting back links(from almost 100,000 pages) from a very high authority website. Will Google be hurting my website in anyway or the pages which are getting links.
No. As long as these links are not part of a lnk scheme. For example, you send such site X amount of links from site C, then they send you similar amount to site A from their site B. If its intentional and you keep doing it, your site will get banned. As long as it is unintentional nothing will happen. Otherwise many heavily trafficed blogs would get affected by black hat manipulation.
I don't believe any types of link can actually harm a site, as nobody has the ability to control all inbound links.
It will not harm your website but it may not help you much either if you are relying to this type of link too much. You should have external links from various sources to build up a good linking profile.
Indeed these run-on-site links won't do you near as good as when the links would've come from different websites. But it does help with scaring off competition and concealing your backlink strategy.
no they do not hurt your site. But the backlinks will help you only when they come from different sites.
No, these backlinks are harmless to your site. On the contrary, you have gained as many as high-quality backlinks for your site indeed. Good luck!
As what most members have mentioned, it will not hurt your site. I wish you great success for your website!
No, it will not hurt your website however too many links from the same website will not give you big advantage also.
In the online arcade industry, we trade "site-wide" links, meaning that the link is placed and shown on every single page. Most arcades have thousands of games so this can produce thousands of links from one site. From my understanding, if you have more than 1000 backlinks from one particular domain, you may raise some sort of red flag to google spider. It's also been said that even though you have 785 links from a site because you traded sitewide links, in reality, only one of them really counts towards PR.
It doenst hurt your website. Conversely, it brings you lots of power in google search engine. Just look for some websites to use them as an example, and google the phrase "link:domain.com", you will see Google count all backlinks from the same website. Only one backlink, from the same website is counted by Google, is a myth. Relly, lots of backlinks like these are actually big help both in PR and search result ranking.
I totally agree... Such links from a single site would do you no good and not even harm you... but it is always wise to generate links from various different sources from all over the web! Regards, RightMan
