Problem with Microsoft Office

Hey everyone, I have a question. I use MS frontpage to do all my site editing. i had a "glitch" last week that would not allow me to open IE. I called my computer guy and we did some things over the phone, but I ended up taking it to him.

Now, I've lost MS frontpage. He said that he was able to reload everything but FP because he didn't have a disk. I have a dell desktop that I got in 2008, but there is no MS FP disk to reload. Can someone PLEASE help me out and tell me how I can get a copy of FP for free without using a trial. I cannot afford to buy the software, and I really need it.

    Have a Blessed Day,

Why don't you use an open source software to edit the sites? FP is not that useful IMO

Thanks manofwar, which one do you prefer? I don't know much about these programs, so any advise you give will be helpful.

Frontpage is very, very old. Expression Web replaced Frontpage years ago. You can find Expression Web online for under $50. The current version is 3, but v2 or v1 are ok too. It is far more powerful than Frontpage but like Frontpage lets you open sites directly and edit them. It also supports all of the 'old' Frontpage components like mailing forms, including files etc.

you can use Dreamweaver to edit your page or EditPlus or Zend Editor. Search on Google and download it. try to use it once you will get idea. Don't use frontpage. frontpage is old.

Expression Web is a best choice as a Microsoft product but for code editing can use Dreamweaver and Notepad++

I Think FP is no longer available. Just try to use Dreamweaver or text editor EditPlus.
