Hi, I am from India. I have created a new paypal account and added a bank account to it today. Today is saturday. When can i expect the two small deposits to my bank account? My bank account is there with HDFC. They said that they will be deposited in 4 to 6 days but sometimes, it comes soon depends on the bank. I don't have online banking option for now but i will get message alert to my mobile when the money is withdrawed or deposited. Does the two deposits will be deposited at a time? or they deposit separately with the time gap? How do i know the two small deposits exactly, if they send both small deposits at a time? If they send one rupee and two rupees then my accounts will be deposited with three rupees, right? Then how can i know the exact two small deposits? Hey don't worry, it will take time. Saturday and sunday banks are off, so count from monday to saturday or friday. Till Saturday you will get your money deposited in the bank, they will send 1 and 2 rs. together, I mean the same day at the same time. You will know the exact small deposits by updating your passbook in your bank account..
Thanks for the information. Can i enter the two deposits with in one day gap? Because, if it comes on Saturday afternoon then the banks will be closed so i can go to the bank only on Monday. Does the link in my PayPal to enter the deposits appears after the PayPal deposition process to the bank completes?
You can get the two small amounts by Wednesday. I just entered by getting mini statement from ATM. Now my paypal is verified. But still it is asking PAN & Phone number.

It's a bank account confirmation processs ,, They will send two small deposite to your account for just confirmation .. If you don't want to do this then you could verify your account through VCC .. then you can direct withdraw your money to your account without any confirmation. IF you have done mobile banking then you don't need to go ATM / Bank .. you will get a message on your mobile whenever this two deposiste credited in your account.
I have credit card also. Can i get verified through that rather than using VCC? I have added hdfc bank account. Do i need to have have hdfc credit card only or can i add any bank credit card? If i can add cc( Credit Card ) and get verified rather than vcc, what is the process to get verified through it? Do i need to have particular number of money in my cc? I will get verified through cc or vcc and bank account.
NO dont go for VCC, just add your bank account and wait for the two amounts confirmation.. After that you are good to go. Also Bank account verification means A verified Paypal member... So cheers..
It is only very recently that the option to verify using an Indian bank account was introduced. Earlier... there was only one option and that was credit card. If you already have a credit card... you can very well use the same. You do not need to have any balance in your CC as two debit transactions are very less in value and you can always pay your CC for these debits in one month from your bank account! You can use any credit card as long as they have visa/master card logo on it! Regards, RightMan
