Hiiii DPer's we put meta tags in website for better seo work, can u plzz tell me that how to choose domain name or can we add - between domain name( exp: example-seo-work.com ) . is it really helpful to get crawled in google easily and faster by choosing this format domain name...?
It would help if you wrote a little better. Your domain name will have little effect on how your website is crawled. It's the content and layout on the website itself that can affect it.
It is better to include keywords in the domain name. For example, if you want to create a website on "dental implants" register domain such as "best-dental-implants.com"or something similar. Ensure that the domain name has some meaning. It is better to avoid domains like "implants-best-dental.com". This is just an example, however I hope you get the point. You can either use the keywords directly or use hyphens. The keywords in the domain name do have some value in terms of search engine optimization, however off page factors are much more important and so you should concentrate on these.
the word is not matter in any website. The important thing is how you optimize your website with on-page optimization and build your backlink as per natural link building guideline. You have to follow all the seo tactic to build link. You surly get good result from search engine if you follow all the tactic.
Choose according your business, verify if that name is available in your hosting server. If you find a name that best fits your business and cannot find its availability, then you can add one more targeting word to that or if you think that is going to be too lengthy(also you can add dashes in between) then check out if you can get a domain name to your country specific extension!(a country specific domain has large benefits when compare to a .com domain when your business comes from your own nation!)
Another thing to try to do is to keep your domain names short. One-word domain names are very valuable.
Yea, that's the best domain, for SEO. The down side with that trick is most single word domains have been taken years ago. The upside is you can still do something like this: http : //seoq.com Then only use the "seo" text in the domain name in any anchor text, & drop the last domain name letter, like in this example the letter "q"
You can have dash in domain but it should not more than 4 dashes, otherwise it may recognize as Spam attempt from Google perspective. If I were you, I would avoid dash in domain name whereas possible, even it is a good keyword. Dash can caused negative to user to remember them, thus too many dashes will cause a dilute in trust as well, unless your domain could acquire quality link from big source like CNN.
Your choice of domain name from an SEO perspective makes absolutely no difference to search engines, however it can help the marketing and branding of your site and enable visitors to make a better click through decision if your domain name contains words that they are looking for for example you may get more visitors from www.buyshoes.com than www.malcolmparks.com - who is a shoe retailer. Clearly visitors can quickly identify what your site is about. Take www.apple.com they are the world's leading technology company and have a page rank of 10 and has nothing to do with fruit and yet search engines in no way penalise them for not linking their domain name to their content.
As far as I know dashes wont help much in SEO. You'd better have your keyword in it instead. Something easy to remember is good.
Well yest have main keywords in domains is really helpful for sure but using hyphens - isn't recommended , say your nick seoshoppers without hyphen is a good example of using keyword seo
