Wordpress theme like Mashable

Hi guys,

I'm looking for a good looking (can be premium) wordpress theme that basically looks like the one on

http://www.mashable.com

So a 2 column theme, clean and good looking

Any suggestions!? Thanks

 

there are plenty of 2 column theme, clean and good looking wordpress themes. you arnt going to find one that looks like mashable.

i suggest just searching with the add new themes system in wp-admin

 

Yeah I tried searching from the dashboard, but most of the themes look amateurish.

I've checked many premium themes, but still haven't found a good one.

I just need a good theme news theme like the one on the big tech blogs - TechCrunch, Mashable, VentureBeat....

 

well those guys fork out some big $$$ to get those, you get what you pay for. so if you want a really good theme hire a designer.

I would go for Thesis, it is a clean theme, and then modify it a bit via css. But it is premium.

 

check out theme hybrid and optimize it to your choice

 

Optimization will be the better choice for getting the themes like that....It will tweak for the best loading and the seo also...

@Randall, I know the thread is a bit dated but... aadi's theme which I believe is Fresh Life theme from theme junkie. I have a scaled down version of the Fresh Life Theme at The Stocks It's great for SEO too.

There is a new clone of the 2010 Mashable.com WordPress theme called Mashlife and it seems to be a really nice, well made theme that is actually very affordable at $39 for a single license with multi-site and developer licenses available as well. Here is a screenshot:
