XP on my main "work" computer, because I need InDesign and Photoshop. Running Linux Mint/Easy Peasy/XP on my netbook - Mint and EP are pretty fast on my netbook, XP is there just in case. Toying with Mint on an old P3 computer. Mint is one of the few Linux distros that I've installed and instantly felt at home with. This could be the year that I let go of Windows.
Desktop is OSX, some leopard, some snow leopard. Our server OS is CentOS the version of Redhat that is built and supported by the community and I've used it for years on hundreds of servers. I've got Windoze 7 running under virtual box on my mac so I can test our sites with IE and the Windoze versions of Firefox and Chrome. Since I don't use it for anything other than those tests, I don't know much about it. It seems nice enough and certainly better than the last bunch of crap from Redmond.
Windows XP, considering upgrading to windows 7 but I'm kind of waiting for something catastrophic to happen to my PC before i have an excuse to go out and buy windows 7.
Windows 7!! & sometimes Windows XP (at work) I LOVE windows 7.. it has many fetaures that make my school work a whole lot easier.. ")
I'm currently on Windows 7 on my desktop. I eventually upgraded from XP because it is becoming too outdated to be truly useful anymore. In some ways I miss it, but Win7 is miles ahead.
same with you, i use XP, because it is still reliable and fast . I t is still used by lot of people, so the software developer must be still make their software compatible with XP. Also the price is cheap
