Is that true? In the series? Must have missed that one. The best were those ones with the pain-node thingies on their throats - where Spock and Kirk had to duke it out with all manner of weapons to entertain the headless "powers." OK, I'm both dating myself and showing myself to have been a Trekkie. Retiring to the darkened folds of anonymity.
lol http://www.space.com/sciencefiction/shatnerwife_810_wg.html It was right after Trouble with Tribbles
No, every episode had to have Kirk doing his famous "double-rabbit-chop to the back" martial arts move. Smooooooooootttttthhh, but not as much as Spock's grip. You know, I actually met both, in L.A. (2 different restaurants). Nimoy was a quiet, polite, introspective guy eating his lunch and reading poetry. Shatner had his face in his hands, head bowed and perched over the table, waiting for his dinner companion. I later learned the guys suffers from an ungodly tinnitus, and wondered if that was what was eating him.
It had to be since those guys hated each other in real life...Not as much as Mr.T and George Peppard...Peppard used to never talk to T and he would turn to face in front of Mr. T and say "Tell Mr. T he is saying his lines to loudly"
Hahahah - that's funny. Didn't know that about T and Peppard. Pretty clear who would win a smackdown, T v. Peppard. What about "The Grip" v. "Rabbit Double Rabbit Chops" Kirk? Alright, way off topic, and again dating myself (which is really weird. I'm married), but anyone see The Blue Max, WWI flying movie, with Peppard as a German ace? I liked it, even as a kid - touches on the existing German class structure and military culture, and as one interested in military history, this has always interested me.
http://foia.fbi.gov/malcolmx/malcolmx1.pdf Freedom of information act. Refer to page 3 (or 7 in pdf), which is a letter he wrote. It refers to the FBI's allegation that he was a communist. It also has a small reference to his medical problem. "The subject mentally disqualified for military service ... because of asocial personality with paranoid trends (Pre-psychotic schizophrenia)." You could find multiple source for the latter. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=ma...e=n-2926112815_q-6xmyzaqf4vQGuqBBhI0pyAABAA@@
Rick, for some reason, I am not able to open the PDF without crashing my computer. The other sources you link to all seem to have the same original source as theirs, so if the original source does not prove anything, the multiple sources wouldn't add any weight to the argument. Just to clarify - I have seen these sources stating that it was presumed he had the disorder - and he even acknowledges that this was thought of him - but I have not seen direct proof that he had it, or was "disturbed," as you term him. Any proof of clinical evidence anywhere? Secondly, I find it odd that he would be considered a communist, when there are multiple public records where he clearly condemns communism. Again, I couldn't open your pdf, and everything may be in there. Does it contain proof (not merely words like "FBI suspects him of ....." or "he is presumed to be...." or "he is known to have been ........"?).
No.. Janet Jackson was such an ignorant ______ that she refused to kiss tupac until he took an AIDS test.
Born in a prison to a black panther, with a convicted armored car robber / murderrer for a step father... living in homeless shelters in NYC and Boston... and finding your way to Oakland... Considering the circumstances... I'd say he made a lot more of himself, and had a much more positive message than anyone would have predicted.
Are you really that dumb? i would expect it from people who have already proven themselves to live completely outside of reality. you don't get aids from kissing.
