Hearing this canned argument over and over, I often wonder if it would not be a more productive use of my time talking to kielbasa sausages.

US Policy has been for some time now, to go after terrorists and the countries that harbor them. To that end, we have done just that. We continue to do it. Yes, we have made some terrorists mad, but weren't they already? Yes, the US has made some other people mad too... Friends of terrorists are upset with us.

Who remembers way back when (a LONG tima ago) when Clinton was president. He was called a Nazi, the Devil, Satin, to name a few. Same enemies... The only difference now is they are now either dead, or running for their lives.

Seriously I really don't see it. Please tell me how coalition forces have reduced terrorism in the Middle East and where the 'paradise of democracy' is?

You talked to a whole 20 Iraquis ??? Am I supposed to be impressed by that?

I'm in a major metro area in the US & I talk to about 20 Iraquis every month. They all seem quite discouraged and baffled by the mess we have created there.

Women were NOT oppressed in Iraq under Saddam.

With a couple dozen Iraquis found dead every day in Iraq, it seems to me women cannot walk alone on the streets, and neither can the men.

    What a load of BS.

I don't think this is the time to be cute with enemies and blame each others for making mistakes in our united efforts against terror. Not a good move. Muslim nations have and have always had a common enemy ... us, the Westerners. No, your Muslim buddies in England won't tell you that. Real Muslims don't wanna live where there are many non Muslims. The ones we see in Europe (I have spent a lot of time in Amsterdam btw.) are the kind that want to benefit financially rather than please Allah.

Who are "we?" Are you one of those that live here, but never have a good word about the US and always seek to blame it first? Just curious, I've seen your posts in the past which sparked the question.

You offer that as a counter and we are supposed to be impressed?

    What a load of BS.

Would you cry about it either way? If so, why raise it as an issue?

So do you want all Muslim nations to be invaded by your troops? I don't understand why you think invading Iraq is the right option, what about all the other countries?

How many troops do you want to sacrifice? Another 2000?

He's a troll, and he's gonna keep baiting me. But I'm not biting. It is not my job to educate. 5 years is NOT THAT LONG. That said, surely in the last five years or so, he might have picked up smidgin of reality.

You will agree with whatever your President does. Do you have any views on invading Iran? Did Bush choose the right country? On what basis?

You can't express your views succintly, you think invading Iraq was the perfect policy but you don't know why.

I want to create a safe world for the future generations. Communism was evil and went down. Islam is worse, but we shouldn't give up fighting it.

I know why. Again, I don't need to tell you why. If you don't see it, I am not going to be able to help you. Keep trolling....

    questions dodged.

The US are the good guys and supporting your troops is fine but what do you think of the policy? Iraq is enough or more muslim countries need to go?

Is Iraq still a muslim country?

So by avoiding the question, your answer is obviously yes, no matter who is taken on, you would cry about it. I pretty much suspected such, but thought you deserved an opportunity to clarify. Thanks for participating ;)

If a nation and its citizens are being used by Islamists to terrorize the rest of the world, actions need to be taken. I prefer peace, but have you ever argued with Muslims? Try is in here and in real life. There is no getting thru. I believe that we need to protect the world, and if you don't see the danger coming from Islam itself, then it's simply because you don't want to see it.
