Which is your favorite way to do online marketing in the following tips?

I like these four work to promote my site.
1. Forum-add links in the signature
2. Leave a message in someone's blog
3. Creat blog--Company blog and personal blog concerning your products or service
4. Social marketing

 

Yeah, forum and blog is my favorit.

 

All of them are good, but the ones that work the best for me are forums, articles and blog commenting.

 

I like WordPress blogs the best because of their ease and SEO properties.

Hi, ifor the first time i have question like yours!! how to target traffic.... and after trying, trying and trying.... i think forum and article submission is the best way, also social media give you much but not targeted...so it depend on you, what will fit to you.

 

I love to participate in forums. It increase knowledge and back links for my site.

 

But some people say that blog commenting for getting back links are fine, but it is useless to get "traffic". I was confused regarding this. What do you say? Any experiences?

They are all strategies in creating free traffic to your website. Besides that, I think you should add some methods such as ping or squidoo

If you have money or selling products, then another way to create more sales and more traffic to your blog is do affiliation and cpc. Just some thoughts.

 

Don't forget to look into mobile phone marketing as a new way of getting your business out there!

 

I prefer combined ways to do online marketing, depending on your business nature and targeted customers. Article marketing is one of the best weapons in an internet marketers arsenal.If you write informative and original articles on a consistent basis, readers will begin to trust your opinion and product reviews. As an affiliate marketer, your most important asset will be the ability to gain the trust of the reader.

 

All of these ideas are great if your content is well written and SEO'd.

Content submission sites like Digg, Reddit, Stumbleupon and Yahoo Buzz are gold. If for some reason you get on the first page of these sites you can expect a ton of traffic. But more importantly is that you get a very high PR back link. Time of day when you submit your content is also very important. Always time it so it goes live around noon East coast time so you maximize east and west coast traffic.

Article directories - In my opinion ezinearticles is hands down the best, but don't only use it to get a back link. Do your keywords research so your article is found on the first page of Google. I can't tell you how many times I was looking for something and saw an ezine article on the first page; especially "How to" articles. People love "how to's" and review articles. Never try to sell your product, it almost never works. People are looking already, no need to shove it down their throats.

Forum signatures - This is a cash cow! Find yourself about 5-7 great forums you love and post on a regular basis. Forums like this have a high PR and over time you will get hundreds of valuable back links. Just imagine if you were doing that on 5 -7 forums. Also, be sure to do your keyword research and use it in your signature. Generic keywords still gives you a back link, but using an actual targeted keyword phrase adds a lot value.

QA sites - Sites like Yahoo Answers, Answerbag and Answers.com allow you to use links when answering questions. Be careful not to be too obvious and make it like you are trying to solicit. Give honest genuine answers and you should be ok.

Bookmarking sites - Yahoo bookmarks, Google bookmarks just to name a few. Go to Google and type in bookmarking sites and you should recognize at least the top 10.

There are so many ways to market so the best advice I can give is to keep researching. Trust me, it pays off big in the end.

 

I have never used Yahoo answers. Could you tell how to get traffic to website by providing answers in Yahoo answers?

 

Go to Yahoo answers and type in a topic you know a lot about, or the niche you are targeting. When you are doing your search be sure to look for questions that haven't been answered yet. When answering on Yahoo Answers, Yahoo allows you to enter a source (website) if you have one. That is when you enter a URL. Go check out Yahoo Answers to see what I'm talking about. I've seen sites that only have 50 or so back links from sites like Yahoo Answers who have much higher PR thatn sites with over 1000 back links. It's all about quality, not quanity.

Write an article then use OpenOffice or Google doc to make a powerpoint of your article. Then turn the PP into a video and upload to YouTube. Google loves video!

 

Twitter works best for us. I'm very happy with it.
