    Dears,
I found a good domain name that was used before, I have no idea what was the content, but for sure it'll be related to the industry, is there any problem to buy a domain name that was used beofre?

There can be many dangers of this.. like that domain may be banned before !! or google may have penalised it before !! or it might have links from bad neighbor..

you need to check it well before using...

To check whether your domain has relevant content which you are willing to continue, visit: www dot archive dot org and search your domain in "way back machine". You will get a clear picture about your domain and its content.

For checking if your domain is banned in Google or Yahoo, just write your domain in Google or Yahoo!, "yourdomain.com". If it is appearing in SERPs than it is OK, but if it is not appearing, than you are penalized. Contact Google Spam department via WebMasters Tools.

Try http://www.archive.org/web/web.php AKA as the way back machine when checking for past history of a domain. If it was not used long it may not have been archived.

Following are some of the benefits of buying an existing domain name:

One of the primary advantages of an existing domain name is that it already has traffic flowing toward it. Obviously the amount of traffic will vary greatly depending on what the current owner has done for promotion but any traffic is more than the zero visitors a fresh name will deliver.

Another advantage is from search engine optimization. Many domainers will have at least put in a small amount of time optimizing their domain name portfolio for search engines. Others put in a great deal of time and effort targeting key words and making sure the domain name is listed. It takes time for various domain names to work their way into search engine listings and if someone has already done that work for you then you are ready to capitalize on their groundwork as soon as you take over the name.

Thank you all for your reply.
There are a lot of interesting information in this post, I bought the domain name already, I found it existed in many websites as an expired domain name, I think these links will be useful for me, hopping it'll be considered as an old domain name, better than starting from the beginning.
