I understand that google supposedly likes "fresh content" My page gets plenty of that, google also indexes my pages incredible fast....within minutes of publishing new posts (even though my front page is static) - it still finds them whatever My question is, why not have static front page. My home page is targeting the keyword that I am seeking - which is Build Your Own Home (which has proved incredibly difficult to rank for [ I have 6 other sites all top page, no problem] ) - But cannot get this one in TOP 64!!!!! I dont knwo WTF. Someone help me out by analyzing what my problem might be.
I have plenty of sites with static homepages. It is helpful to stick a twitter / youtube widget on their but in general if the domain is getting plenty of new content then I wouldn't worry too much about it. Build better backlinks would be the key here.
Quality and relevant backlinks can work quick better with improving your ranking in SERPs. You mentioned that your site gets plenty of quality content. I suggest you to make sure the content is also optimized with keywords you are targeting at. Hope this helps!
