Directory script with user comments on entries?

Basically I'm about to start a directory, what I need though is the ability for users to leave comments on entries.

Also I'd also like each link to have a picture next to it, like this: http://www.search365.com/index.php?catPath=20

Is there such a script out there or am I dreaming?

But why would you want that? From what I've seen, it just gets abused. I.e. competitors leave nasty comments, few legitimate comments are left + spam problems.

Esyndicat has also that feature, however I disabled it at my directory because like onlinedude said it gets abused

I agree with this as we have tried this type of setup and all it did was cause headaches and frustrations.

Stick witht he basics with some basic bells and whistles and it seems you will be better off for it.

that's strange what you say about links commenting. I never had any problems with it. Just try to explain your problem in esyndicat support forums and I'm pretty sure the support guys will help you.

I was actually going to hack this script into an affiliate directory site, the reason why I chose a directorÿ script is due to the nature of visitor submitted content.

What I would be doing is manually approving the content.

You may check our script. It has captcha to prevent comment spams.
