Contest $75 Visual Redesign of my current WordPress Theme.

Chewysmom, was this your final version? or are you still working on it?

 

final version but any modification is welcome

 

In short, I was hoping for color image that stretched all the way across the screen. If that's not possible I would like the logo and motto to not sit so close to the edge of the image. The gray sidebars would be better black. The gold coins and gray box I don't care for. i was hoping for something new here. The theme still has the original blue arrows, and would like something new here as well. I am hoping I did not forget anything.

 

UPDATE: I feel it is only fair to give those who are working on this project the chance to submit it. This would be Nikola and possibly killerdesign. No new designers for this contest will be accepted. There will now be a 24 hour time limit for those two designers to produce their submission. I will end this contest upon waking Wed. morning. and choose the winner, unless there are revisions, but by then I should have an idea of who the winner will be. I hope this sounds fair. I will also email both of them to make sure they are still working on it.

I pre-ordered a PS3 game and will be heading into town to pick it up, so I will be gone for several hours today. I will be back to check up on things throughout the day.

 

I did forget something. Sorry. The copper looking pressed tab shown in the image as "home" has been bothering me. Maybe black or a brighter "yellow" gold would work here better.

 

I fixed the logo and tag line, I'll work on the rest and submit soon

 

Nikola has informed me he is working on a submission. No word yet from killerdesign.

Question for Chewysmom: Is that tagline image or text? I need to keep it text for SEO. I thought I would let you know, but you can change the font. It looks good where it is. If you want to wait that is something that can be changed upon me selecting your submission.

 

the tag line is part of the image. I can make the text similar to this in css but not exactly the same location.
the easiest solution would be to use the image and text both but set the display:none in css for the text. I hope you understand what I'm talking about.

I have to admit I am a little lost on this one. As long as the text that is on the website now, stays text, I will be okay with it. I rank for a lot of keywords and I don't want that to change. I just don't want any text exchanged for images of the text. That's my main concern.

 

Just wanted to check in and let you all know that I will be checking in every 30 to 60 minutes for the rest of the day.

 

I know a work around for this so if my design is selected I keep the tag line text as you requested.

 

Chewysmom is the winner. I did not have to wait until Wed. morning. after all. Nikola submitted his final theme, via personal message and killerdesign opted out because he did not have enough time.

So I guess I will be working with you Chewysmom for the final touches.
