    Fair enough...

    Last time I was in London I was in a underground (as in, it was below street level) pub hanging out. The bartender was an Aussie, and the croud was what looked like polo playing upper class yuppies. Anyway, I was there with a friend, and this guy walks in, and the crowd pretty much clears out. I start talking with the guy (who's Irish) and anyone previously talking to me, leaves, or moves away.

    Now what was that about?

    If we didn't spend money on defense, we (in the US) would all be speaking German or Japanese right now.

    Defence is not a waste of money, it should be the ONLY use of government funding.

    Healcare costs go up when the government has a monopoly on it and I shouldn't be forced to pay for your healthcare if I don't want to.
